Harbor Freight — Local services in Mayfield Heights

The store on Mayfield road is pretty helpful. There's always an employee who asked if I need some help finding something. I go here alot. Better than spending double the price at home Depot or Lowe's. I love the Bauer line and the Hercules line. Its comparable to all the other top brands In my opinion. Yeah you can buy a Milwaukee but if you're not doing this for a living and this might be a one-time project I wouldn't buy Milwaukee or DeWalt or other big names. I have bought just about every tool from one end of the spectrum to the next. None of the power tools have failed me yet. Bauer Concrete mixer which saved me thousands of dollars since I poured my own concrete with this concrete mixer than to hire somebody else to do it. I use the ready mix from home Depot at $5 a bag. It mixes three bags at a time. It only takes maybe 3 or 4 minutes to mix then it's ready to be poured. I had a 20ft walkway I had to pour. 1/2-in drive impact gun, floor jack, welder, saws and drills, TV mount, air compressor tools, paint brushes, extension cords, chains, I can go on and on. This was my first visit ever. For the last six months, I kept noticing that various items I googled for purchase at multiple merchants always had the lowest price at Harbor Freight Tools. When it happened yet again, I finally hopped in the car and went there. I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and the store to be incredibly clean and well organized. The small item I was shopping for (pressure washer pump saver) was priced at $5.50, which is $3.00 less here, both online and in store, than at other stores offering the exact same brand and size. And at Amazon, Home Depot, Target, Lowe's, etc, the prices for the same type of product ranged from $8.50 to $14.00. I know that may not sound expensive, but I just couldn't justify spending so much more when I didn't have to. I was happy to get what I needed at Harbor Freight for a reasonable price. Also, I noticed that they have a great selection of table saws, drills, etc at very fair prices too, so I will definitely be back. The female that waited on me was extremely friendly and helpful. "We don't sell floor models... It's policy but there's one they can sell you at this other location"

Go to other location and later get home to find crucial parts missing and a broken tensioner that I missed when checking it out...

Which I could've avoided if they would just let me buy the complete one there instead of sending me to Eastlake where I was told they should've since they "have the same planigram" should've known better...what the hell were THEY going to do with it? Thanks for the reminder of why I avoid your chain...
