I have been to EVERY Asian store in New Jersey and even Manhattan looking for authentic Thai Products with only little success until I found this small store in Maywood, NJ. They carry everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! Bottled sauces, palm sugar, fresh fruits and vegetables, Thai Rice Steamers, Thai Clay Mortars and Pestles...the list is endless! The owner of the store is friendly and helpful with any question you might have but the best thing about this store is that it's like going into a Disney World for Thai products. I went here to stock up on items that I knew I wasn't able to find anywhere or had to order overseas for. It's a cute little store that you at first question if you are going to be able to cross off both sides of your shopping list.... and then you do! They had everything from fresh produce to frozen and shelf items. Being a very white girl and probably mispronouncing everything, I was excitedly shown everything on my list and given some extra input which was super helpful. I visited this place today with my son. It is a small family owned store, the young ladies who helped us were so kind and helpful. They have a big selection of items from Thailand. I loved that I was able to find all that I was looking for and got some things to try for the first time. We are not from Thailand but my family and I love foods from all over the world. We tried their warm sweet fried dough for the first time and we all loved it! I will definitely go back again soon, though we traveled 30 minutes to get there. Thank you so much for the kind help.
