If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered a sofa and two chairs from La-Z-Boy McAllen in 07/2020 (paid in full) and were told it would arrive by 10/28/2020 the latest. Here we are 12/14/2020 and our furniture is still not here. Just to let other shoppers know, refunds are almost impossible with the La-Z-Boy policy. After many many many many calls to the store we have finally been informed our delivery date is 12/23/2020. I have very little faith that we will actually see our furniture that day and that the quality will be worth all of this trouble. I am very upset that they never once called to inform us of any issues happening with our fulfillment date or even an update on delivery. WE had to be the ones calling to receive updates. On 11/24/2020, we were told verbally that we would receive some credit or money back in the amount of $150, due to the delivery issues. Of course, today that has changed. They now have changed their minds and let us know "we got a really good deal" so they can't do the credit or money back for the delivery issues. We did not get a good deal, as we ordered custom items we paid about $600 or more than the price of the item that was on display. We can't wait to be done with this ordeal. This was our first purchase from La-Z-Boy and it will definitely be our LAST. The upgrade we paid for the "i-clean" guarantee means nothing if this is a reflection of the type of service to expect. I bought 2 each costing $2000 plus I bought warranty.I had them special ordered with a high quality leather fabric so they were supposed to arrive in 3 months instead they arrived in 6. I kept calling to see what the status was and was repeatedly lied to and given the run around. First they were on their way, then the leather was on back order after a salesman said I couldn't cancel cause the leather was already cut out and ready for upholstery. The salesman lied to his supervisor saying he had been calling me which was bull and the supervisor would not let me just cancel the order. I knew I would not be able to return my item after receiving them but I tried to cancel before they were even made and he would not see reason. When I did get them the color was off, they were some what deflated in my opinion and some of the stitching was crooked. I had one of them to be fixed and when I got it back I noticed it had been stuffed more so then I had to have them take the other one and stuff it the same way. Now not even a year has passed and 4 bolts have broken off and I find out the warranty only covers parts, it doesn't cover labor or delivery. Delivery by the way is $200! Freakin laughable man. We provided information as to what we were looking for in features and style and was shown 4 different models. Lidia was gracious to get the swatch samples and show what patterns/colors were available on each. The associate showed us the features of each couch and recliner as well. Then Lidia walked us through a virtual mock up of our living room in the colors and how the furniture and it's material and design would blend in. Very knowledgeable and patient in walking us through each of the styles and designs on the floor. Explained the construction of the furniture how the warranty works and such. Professional and friendly made the experience exceptional. We don't normally make a purchase on the spot but the information we were given the options that were show and the associate having the answers we asked made the experience very comfortable and confident in our purchase.
