After a failed attempt to another McHenry bakery, we stumbled upon this location to purchase conchas for my daughters school project. The facility was extremely clean and they offered a wide variety of items. My daughter picked out her items and the young man cashing us out struck up a conversation with her. She informed him they were for a school project she was working on about Mexico. He smiled and told her that he thought he might have something special for her project. I was looking for Ice cream and remembered their sign for “Homemade Ice Cream”. They have beautiful and unique hand made ice cream bars and Frozen Fruit bars, so many unique flavors like Pine Nut, and really huge dipped and rolled in Oreo Waffle cones...smoothies, every kind of bakery item and it’s just delicious!!
