If I could leave 0 stars, I would. My boyfriend and I came in to eat around 3, and everything was fine at first. I ordered a mango lemonade and drank about 1/4 of it while waiting for our food. We are about halfway through our meal, and I am now half way through my drink, and I see something red in it. I decide to push it around with the straw and notice what appears to be someone’s red/green/and white striped acrylic fingernail broken off into my drink. Immediately I feel sick to my stomach. I call over our waiter, absolutely disgusted and point out what I saw in my drink. He took it before I could snap a picture of it. He says he is going to talk to his manager, and I notice him walking around asking all the employees to show him their hands. Eventually, there is about 4-6 employees standing at the front hostess desk, laughing and taking glances at me. They laughed in my face while I am sitting here wondering where it came from, what diseases and raw foods the nail could have touched, just appalled. The waiter comes back to me and tells me “I couldn’t tell you where it came from. It’s none of our nails.” The manager who was a slim lady came up and asks if I’d like another drink, I say no and that was the last I saw of her. Not an apology or anything. Our waiter brought a glass of water to my boyfriend that he had asked for, prior to finding the nail, and my boyfriend said “no nails in this one?” the waiter said with an attitude, “well its not any of ours so..” and walks away. We were not helped by him after that. He never came back to check on us or ask if we were ready to pay. We sat there with no one attending to us after just finding a NAIL in my drink. Eventually another lady comes and asks if we’d like boxes, and we go up to pay. She was the only one who ever said any form of apology, but clearly did not take us seriously. I am seriously disgusted by this entire incident. There has been other incidents with their drinks before. I was once there with my family and my dad noticed moldy stuff in his cup. They went to check the ice machine and proceeded to remove everyone’s drinks in the restaurant and could no longer serve ice in their drinks because of mold. This Ihop needs some serious cleaning or to be shut down. I should have known we would not have a good experience from the moment we walked in and saw the hostess had brought her child to work with her and was letting the barefoot child run all through the kitchen and restaurant. I was so in shock and in utter disbelief that I didn’t even know how to handle this situation, and I cannot believe I even paid for the meal we didn’t...
Read moreI tried to have breakfast at your establishment. I asked the waitress if the turkey bacon could be cooked in a different pan. I expressed to her that I am ALLERGIC TO RED MEAT. At that time she should have told me that everything else I had ordered would also be cooked on the griddle where you cook all meats including red meat. I started eating my eggs and hashbrowns and a third of the way through eating it I could taste red meat. I started having heart palpitations, extreme abdominal pain, nausea, headache and my lungs started feeling heavy. I called the waitress over and asked her if the food was cooked in separate pans from the griddle as I am allergic to red meat and had told her that. She said, "No, we can't cook everything in separate pans. You only asked about the turkey bacon". I told her, that I told her about my red meat allergy, which would apply to the eggs, hasbrowns and pancakes too, no? I should have been told that everything else was going to be cooked on the griddle and then I would have ordered something else. Now I am having complications and have been sitting in the parking lot because I can't quite drive yet. If someone says they are allergic to red meat, your team should understand that means everything that is red meat or cooks red meat. It's common sense. She was very nice but again this could result in a hospital stay. Little mistakes like this could really hurt someone and cause horrible outcomes. If someone says they are allergic to peanuts, I'm sure your team would tell them if something they ordered had nuts in it or was cooked around nuts, right? Same should go for any other allergy, including red meat allergy (Alpha Gal). Training may be in order. Not a good...
Read moreI had an unsatisfactory experience during my recent visit to this IHOP location. Unfortunately, there were several notable issues. Initially, our party of four was attended to by a waitress who only took drink orders from three of us, and she did not allow me to complete my request. Consequently, my drink was incorrect, and the others were not provided with their coffee until after our meals were served.
Furthermore, one of the orders had undercooked eggs, to the point where it was raw, and the other was missing pancakes entirely. The French toast was notably overwhelmed by an excessive amount of egg in the batter. There was basically an egg attached to the bottom of it. I can provide a photo as evidence. Regrettably, the overall quality of the food left me concerned about its safety. I felt like I was going to get sick from whatever I could get down, and I hope I don’t.
In terms of service, our table was visited by the waitress only once, towards the end of our meal, to inquire about drink refills. Unfortunately, these were never delivered. Additionally, the condition of the bathroom was subpar, being both unclean and malodorous. The smell was so bad that I opted out of using the restroom.
While it is not my inclination to leave negative reviews, I believe it is important to share my experience in...
