Starbucks — Restaurant in McHenry

Cory is the most brightest ball of sunshine you could ask for. I will always go out of my way to this location. Here is why: One random morning I was on a path I don’t normally take, my life was up in shambles, and I pulled into the drive though and went through the line. Like I said, on top of disaster after disaster, I was having a morning from hell, and was in tears when I was greeted by this beautiful soul who saw my pain and extended her hand to me. She showed such love and compassion for a complete stranger, not even like I was a regular “customer”. I wasn’t a regular, she didn’t know me. She instantly made my day better.

I now, whenever I can, go 20 minutes out of my way SPECIFICALLY because I hope to be greeted by her energy. When I am having a disastrous day, I go out of my way to this Starbucks JUST to get my soul a pick me up….and the drinks are ALWAYS PERFECT.

We need more Cory’s in the world. Light...

Sadly this is the only Starbucks near my location and the closest thing I can get to before I go to work, I literally come almost everyday before work and the first half of my week my drinks are always fine or when I go inside the store to order them they come out just fine, but the moment I order after Wednesday from drive thru my drinks are always make extremely poorly. I’ve had to call 3-4 times just in the last month because i’m definitely not ok with paying $6 or sometimes more for a drink that looks and tastes even more disgusting. I hate being a bother and I honestly never leave reviews but i’m just over it at this point and i’ll definitely be making today the 5th time I reach out for a replacement drink, I just don’t understand why drinks are being handed out if they look gross and not done right why think that’s ok to give away to a customer and expect them to...

If not, the girl at this Starbucks didn't either.

This is a "Boba Tea" that includes those bubble pearls.

They need a special large straw because they are way larger than the normal Starbucks straw.

Yet!

When we get up to the drive-through window to pay for this already expensive drink, we get told. "Oh! By the way, we are all out of the special straws you need to drink this with, sorry. That will be a ba-jillion dollars, please."

Maybe tell us "that" at the drive-through speaker as we are putting in our order?

It's okay, NASA has already moved on to their next candidate for a rocket scientist.

Get your next drive-through order and make sure to not tell them you're out of what they want and just substitute...
