Let me just start with the āmistakesā we did that I take accountability for. We were late for the appointment we booked over the phone. My husband asked for a couples massage a day prior, he was told it will not be on the same room, we still take it anyway. Fast-forward to the day of the massage and an hour away from our schedule, I called and asked if we can reschedule or move the time since we are still driving back to the city and will be around 15 mins late. I was told they donāt reschedule but we can still come in late. So we did come in late becoz parking is also hard to find (not their fault). We were ushered in and went to our assigned room. Until this point, no other clear communication of what entails if we come in late. The assigned masseur asked me if I have any specific area problem I needed massage for, I told her back massage as I have back pain, stressors. Then she said she can only do 30 mins and she will only do back massage as she will be out already. I asked if f she can do whole body for 30 mins, she said no. I asked if my husband is going to do the same for 30mins. She doesnāt know what service he will be getting for that 30 mins but we will end the same time. At this point I went along bcoz we were there already and what else can we do. The massage ended and time to pay and to go. This is when I learned that we will be paying full 1 hour for the service that doesnāt even offer a towel when I get inside the room and I have to asked for it after it ended. I have to pay the whole hour for the 30 mins back massage that I was not aware of. My main problem about this is that we could hav been given full disclosure when I called over the phone to confirm if they will take us in or the conditions and kind of service we will get for being late, I would have saved us time and effort and just totally do it in another day/ week. It was a total miscommunication to me and I felt ripped off to be paying such for a mediocre service. I went in feeling stress and got out being MORE stressed! My husband on the other hand got a good service for the 30 minutes he was in. He got full body massage even for that short duration which is good for him. Honestly their online registration process felt longer than the actual service. There was even no apology after when I provided my feedback. I will not be coming back here of course. I just wish proper and clear communication can be provided to avoid any false expectations. Nobody said anything prior to us coming and while in the room, that it is how itās gonna be. I take responsibility for assuming the best even when I totally felt ripped off. It is a lesson learned over 30 minutes that cost me $119 for that back...

The manager contacted me and offered to book me a free session with a different massage therapist to make up for my first unpleasant experience. They were understanding and attentive on call and I was glad that they didn't necessarily blame either me or the first therapist I saw, and instead said it was likely not the right fit. So during the second visit, I saw Kelly and my god was she amazing! She was very personable, made me feel comfortable and talked to me throughout to make sure I was doing well and kept making minor adjustments as needed. The best thing was that she was very intuitive in her approach and could tell which part needed more focused relief. It was a firm and deep tissue massage which was at times painful due to relieving muscle knots but brought me great relief. I left feeling lighter and relaxed. Even two days later, I can still feel the effects of the massage. I highly recommend Kelly as she was outstanding! Previous:
Went for a deep tissue massage two days ago and it was an underwhelming experience. The front desk person was very welcoming and the atmosphere of the place was indeed nice, but the massage therapist (Eric) was a disappointment. I did not enjoy my massage because it didn't relieve any tension or bring deep tissue relief. It also felt rushed and I ended up being given a massage for 45 mins instead of the full 60 mins that I paid for. Also I went in relatively pain free (I have chronic lower back pain that I'm in PT for) and walked out with lower back ache that made it uncomfortable to walk. I think the massage contributed to the pain flare up!
The therapist didn't really spend time to talk to me to fully understand and address my concerns, the reason I was there and overall didn't seem to go out of their way to make me feel comfortable and ease my concerns as a first time client who's never had a massage before. I also wasn't counselled after the session with any suggestions for long term care or deciding a massage frequency. Overall it just felt hasty and I didn't feel the therapist knew what they were doing fully or maybe they weren't comfortable with me as their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in for one massage and was hooked. Reason I love it:
I can use my FSA flex spending account so it's essentially tax-free spending (even when I purchase a gift card)
There is a free parking lot across the street that always has spaces
They send text message reminders that I can easily add to my google calendar on my phone with on click of the button
The people who answer the phone are so nice and professional even when I am calling to reschedule or change my payment card or something typically inconvenient
I have met and chatted with the owner several times, she is lovely and kind - they did a coat drive this year for Christmas which was nice for the community
The massages are wonderful obviously... the massage therapists are professional are there are a variety of them. Bong, who does my massages ALWAYS remembers every ache and pain I had from the month before. The lighting is soft, the music is soft and he always gives me a heating pad on my back to loosen it up.
This place has been such an important part of my life for the past year, getting massages truly makes me relax, I have a crazy job. I try to get a massage on Sunday evenings or right when I get home from a work trip. I also have encountered sports injuries and massages are an important feature on my road to recovery.
I can't say enough good things...
