KOBI-TV — Local services in Medford

REALLY The Best! During the horrific fires - KOBI was our Go To Station for all info and updates. The coverge was top-rate. KOBI is celebrating 70 years of being On The Air - and now receiving accolades from numerous local and national companies. Bravo. When we visit the area..we watch (big fans) most especially love "Docs on Call" (Our fav star is "Dr Don" such a wonderful man - great advice.) And, we think the Channel 5 KOBI TV news team has done nothing but get better every year. Bravo!. Truly, during the terrible Fires - we were glued to KOBI for all the news and updates... 70 Years. How many stations can make that claim....

Because my great aunt went to school with the owner, we hada tour of the TV station. KOBI 5 is the leading TV station in Southern Oregon. Plus it's a family owned station and has been since I think 1953... like a century ago.... We got to see the newsroom and the live production and there was a TV show called "Call the Doctor" There were actual doctors taking phone calls from strangers and giving ideas not advice. Yeah people don't like am making history because am proving the military can get sued now everyone can get sued because the military was the one people said can never get sued. But am excited to be on the news. Then I will be the 1st person with a 2nd blue cord and because of me people will say almost impossible because am the almighty one.
