This place has HORRIBLE customer service. I've randomly gone into this store about 20 times over the past few years and NOT ONCE has any of the employees greeted me upon entering. As a matter of fact, they usually don't say anything to me at all. I really wanted to buy some new plugs today, and I walked around looking at their jewelry displays (which are in glass cases) for about 15min before I finally just gave up because no one even attempted to ask me if I wanted to see anything from the case. As a customer, there is no reason why I should have to hunt down the employee for service. Work on your customer service skills, learn how to INTERACT with the people that come into the store.
UPDATE: The owner actually tried to JUSTIFY their lack of quality customer service, because they said that I was only in their store for a total of "5min" according to them. Yet anyone in customer service knows that regardless of time frame, EVERYONE deserves to be acknowledged at some point when they are a shopper. Also, they lied and said that they were helping other people while I was there the whole time. There was an older woman working behind the counter in the back with her head down; she too never said a word to me.
I left a very similar comment on HOT TOPIC'S google page, because it is ACCURATE, what's your point? The way that the owner handled this situation was extremely immature and horribly unprofessional.---But these sorts of excuses should not be shocking coming from a place with subpar...

When the associate asked if I was interested in some jewelery I politely and professionally engaged back and said "yes I was interested in some jewelery." Y'all need to do a better job of listening.
