Food was tasty but no food displayed in the case like usaul and the employee was a young man with a blue hat. He did not seem that friendly all business...he had no veggies available and meat meals were frozen in a individual bag that he cut and put in a pot on high heat stirred it until it was warm enough to place on top of some pre-prepared rice concoction. Took over 15 minutes to prepare my meal. I liked the food but wow it was loaded with extra salt...i could only eat a few bites because of it and could taste salt in my mouth for hours after like i just had a salt lick ...i rinsed my mouth with a bubbly beverage for about 30 minutes before i was comfortable again since eating the first bite. I asked the young man what some of the items were on the menue photos as i am not 100% familiar with Indian food and he said he did not know and that it was probably a vegetable thing. Not an answer i was looking for. Just some kid working there without any actual information. Almost felt like he really did not want to prepare some of the items as he was not interested in washing his cooking pots or equipment. He only had a few items he was willing to prepare. I just know i will not eat there again as the salt is so high and that if you go there just imagine if there were other people there and how long it would be to get your food if that guy was there. Last time i went to this place i did get food from the case in just a minute as it was prepared. Took longer to pay. This may have just been a bad day. Hopefully the Owners are careful with the salt ingredients down the road. It will be a few before i come back. If the food is salty the next time i go there...i will never eat there again. One does need to worry about their health. Without any vegetable content in the food it is only a fatty meaty sauce on rice with the portion of boiled meat desired. No acual nutrition value at all. It was during the diner rush and lucky for me i thought that no one was at the indian booth...now i know...geeze...too bad because i am such an Indian food...
Read moreI gotta say that I’ve never tried Indian or Mediterranean food before and that I’m pretty nervous to try new things, until I came to this place, I tried the Gryo pita sandwich and once it hit my tongue, it was the best thing I had tried, it was delicious because the meat, flavors, vegetables, and taziki sauce inside the sandwich combined were delicious and worked well together. Then ever since that I’ve tried everything on the menu where I got to say was delicious and pretty cheap while the employees were very nice and remembers me when I started going but the gryo sandwich is still my favorite thing to get here. Would recommend to people who wants to try or have Indian or...
