This was a difficult review to be completely fair about...even my pictures would be unfair. The room I was in now was a 2 when I checked in but will be a 4 by now! I will explain: I booked my reservation with the RED ROOF INN, a cheap place that didn't care if you brought a pet, because I needed one night after picking up my new puppy at a local breeder. She was under 10 lbs (the puppy, not the breeder!) so she also was not going to be too much trouble or mess for anyone but me! When I arrived in Medford, the Red Roof Inn was OUT OF BUSINESS but the RAMADA by WYNDHAM NORTH AIRPORT was OPEN! The Ramada did not have the record of my reservation. The front desk person was as efficient as possible. Scratch that. She was as efficient as HUMANLY possible! There was enormous stress! When a guest checked out, a crew went in THEN housekeeping went in. EVERY ROOM had a NEW mattress! Then different rooms got different construction crews before housekeeping. Eventually all the rooms will be complete but right now, it seems only some are completely renovated. Some are in the midst of it... like mine. I had a brand new air conditioner! It blew ZERO dust up into the air. Wow! With the new bed, all new linens and flooring that was also PERFECTLY clean, it sounds perfect! But, the doors were scratched so you could see through the last color to the one before it. The threshold into the bathroom was cracked (clearly from laying the new floor). The dispensers for soaps were all broken. (It turned out they were going to be removed.) The staff was VERY helpful! The hotel IS pet friendly BUT there is now a deposit required for the pet, so they must be included on the reservation. The team went out of their way to make sure that I had EVERYTHING that I needed, including a ride back to the airport. It was not my best stay anywhere but I can honestly say that no one has ever worked harder to make it a GOOD NIGHT FOR ME. TLDR; I want to go back in 6 months and stay a couple nights!!    Read moreI always do a âsweepâ when we stay somewhere, and Iâve never had such disgusting results, as I did when we checked into this place. All they did was empty the trash and make the beds. Everywhere I looked, there was filth. Someoneâs food from 3days prior to our arrival, was still in the fridge. Itâs probably never been cleaned. It was about 10pm when we went to our room and I was going to clean the room and bathroom myself, so I could bathe my daughter, but we decided to just check out and go elsewhere after I saw a small bug crawling in the tub. That was the last straw. We were told weâd get refunded within the next couple of days. That was Monday. Itâs now Friday and we have learned that our funds werenât even released back to us, until my husband called to ask about it, this afternoon. So now we wait an extra 3-5 business days, apparently. The manager told my husband that we should not leave a review because we did not stay there. However, a review is being left as to why, we could not stay there. The condition of the room was entirely unacceptable and I donât recommend that anyone book a stay here. I do recommend a meeting/training about higher standards within the staff here.    Read moreRooms were very clean and comfortable had every minute he needed a wonderful place to stay for a night or even an extended stay however as far as customer service goes front desk especially the person that works in the morning was not exactly the greatest constantly having issues with repeatedly having to give information to have my spouse leave work in the middle of the day to bring credit card back down after we'd already ordered or renewed our room online and the card that we used was already on file from the previous week that we had already been there and lose hours so unfortunately service was definitely not up to par I will say though that the maintenance man was definitely went above and beyond to help with any issues or problems that I had and made my stay much more comfortable and convenient in my opinion he should be working the front desk or someone like him unlike the person working the desk now in the mornings.
