Sam Goody — Local services in Medford

Very different then what this 80's kid remembers Sam Goody's being! Here there are hardly any records, they were replaced by cassettes, then again replaced by CD's. Now, what they have for music is mostly fancy collectables. Huge expensive box collections and the like. Now that you can get all the music you want online, it is hard to rationalize spending so much on music collections. They sell concert tees and jerseys to the public. We actually had to go to the concert to get merch! We were proud to show off our love for our favorite bands by wearing out our hard earned concert tees. There is an explosion of pop culture merch and a bunch of soon to be collectible gobbledygook.I didn't find anything I couldn't talk myself out of buying. It was a wonderful, colorful treat to look at the newer, cooler ways my old school memories look after becoming pop culture. This store is ripe and ready for the youth of the day, who are thirsty to mimick a childhood their parents had. I could never survive more than an hour of the sensory overload there. Really enjoy going into Sam Goody, usually has a lot of items I enjoy getting. My only complaint is the FYE backstage pass VIP, when it comes to calling customer service to cancel, they don’t accept you saying you want to cancel your membership, they continue to give you all the information you already know on the membership, say they will go ahead and keep it active, even though you keep saying please cancel. I had to tell them 4 times before they completely listened that I did not want the membership anymore rather than accepting that I wanted to cancel the first time. Unfortunately I tried using the app to cancel before but it kept saying to contact Customer Service. Definitely makes it hard to want a membership when they constantly push you to keep it when you no longer want it. All in all, service is great at my Sam Goody in the mall, just be aware if you do sign up for their membership, it’s a hassle to cancel and the customer service through it pushes...

good place mostly checkout people can be rude as he'll depending on who it is I had my back pack searched once because I brought a backpack in and they wanted to make sure I didnt :steal: anything and put it in my back pack then they said I wasn't welcome there anymore even though they didn't find anything and the i ended up filling a complaint amd getting those people fired amd I can ship their again but I just think that if your in customer service you should be nice and outgoing and friendly anything where you have to deal with people you should be friendly not a price of cheap who accuses you of stealing because you brought a back pack in so stupid women carry purses and that dosent happen to them but a man can't have a backpack in the store? that makes no sense whatsoever. so all in all be careful bringing a backpack in and try and look for a friendly...
