DO NOT BRING UR DOG HERE. ((UPDATED)) I dropped My dog off to get a bath and essential add-on but left with a bad feeling sure to my dog seeming very fearful of the large rough lady Danielle that i left her with. My dog even peed when Danielle let her which had never happened in the 10 yrs of her life. As i drove off i called Woburn to see if they had availability bc i couldn’t shake this bad feeling. They said they could take her at 2 so i immediately Called Medford to say I’m coming back to pick her up. They told me she was damp bc was alrdy placed in the bath i said thats ok i will take her wet. I arrived Back at Medford petco and Danielle gave me a hard time and had an attitude problem. I was full of anxiety and needed to see my dog and they refused to bring her out til i paid $60 for all services i said Fine took the receipt to register spoke to manager who was trying to resolve this issue, meanwhile they wouldn’t let me see my dog. There is no way they washed. Her cut her nails cleaned her ears and brushed her teeth in 10 minutes when they initially told me it would be 2.5 hrs. One of the girls finally brought out my dog i took Her and walked out, she wasn’t even wet and nothing else had been done. I’ll never go to this location again i do Not trust these people. Woburn location is great and I’ll be writing them a review as well. So about a half hour later Woburn Petco called me to tell me Medford had contacted the police and made a report saying i jumped over the counter and made a scene, im pretty sure there are cameras that can be rolled to proved that never happened. They wanted me to clear things up w Medford police before coming to my appt. I got In touch w the officer who took the report and we both laughed at the situation. I literally was taking my dog from one location to the other bc those people at Medford petco are wacked. If the services were done why would i be taking her to still get them done? Danielle does not belong working with the public and especially not working with dogs. My dog was terrified of her, as are her coworkers who look like they stand behind her with their tail between their legs. Gia was finally able to get her bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing on the same day with people that I trusted, who confirmed none of these services had been done. If u truly care about ur pet, u won’t be leaving them at...
Read moreAwful! Grooming manager Danielle Correnti is awful. Rude. Unprofessional. And doesn’t want new customers. Said I need proof of rabies before grooming. That’s reasonable, so I got that. Asks when I walk in for 1st scheduled appointment what medical conditions, I tell minor heart murmur. “Oh no can’t groom dog till we get letter from vet on stationary that it’s low grade and he’s safe to groom.” I left and a week later got that letter . Made a second appointment. I come with letter. She says not good enough because it says low grade and not a grade number. At the store I call my vet, vet sends actual vet records and it says he is a grade 2 of 6., with date and vets name and clinic. Mgr won’t take that because it’s not on the SAME PIECE OF PAPER. Wants it re-typed on first letter. What?! SHE IS A DISGRACE TO YOUR COMPANY AND SHOULD BE FIRED. I will never use Petco and telling others! She had it out for me from the start. She was going to make it as difficult as possible and then I followed everything she wanted and still not good enough because info on 2 separate pages. Called corporate to be connected to her manager. They won’t connect me. It’s not their policy. But they will file a complaint to the manager with no guarantees of a return call to me. But the manager is the one I’m complaining about. Makes no sense. Doesn’t corporate Petco care what it’s managers are doing?. Who is policing them? Petco reputation in general...
Read moreFirst I would like to thank the amazing Veterinary staff here at PetCo Hospital for great service and care for our dog Myla.
I would like to start off and say that they did an amazing job informing us about shots and health related topics our dog might need. Providing us with a lot of information as well as recommendations on this we can do as dog parents to ensure our four legged friend the best lifestyle she can have.
Myla is normally very skittish around other people who aren’t her parents yet she seemed to open up to the two vets we had. Our dog didn’t bite, bark, run or whimper during the whole process of shots and checkup. To me this shows that the vets here really do care about your pets safety and well being. Granted some dogs are different and react their own ways but they offered her treats and treated her as their own.
The pricing here is a lot better than most places i’ve gone to previously so if money is a concern, you won’t have it worrying you here.
I paid roughly 235$ for a full vaccination with blood drawn and other necessary medication. Considering we could sit and watch our dog as well was another amazing part as well. Yes it’s hard watching your little one be anxious at the vet but at least you can be there with them.
I would like to thank the wonderful staff/vets again for the awesome service and I will highly recommend them to anyone else! Will definitely come back here with the pup!
