Today I decided to return to this store to return goods that were not useful to me in my project. I arrived at the store at about 19:40, that is, 20 minutes before closing. A young cashier began to serve me and I helped him find all the goods on three receipts. We were close to completing the return, but as a new employee he was required to enter a special code from a supervisor. A middle-aged man with blond hair came up and said that he is not going to give me this refund today because it would take too long. I insisted that he should serve me because I came to the store on time and the time was 19:55, that is, there were no mistakes on my part. In response to this, he said that he was ready to return one item and no more, and then serve other clients. There were three more people in line behind me who wanted to make purchases. I said that I am the same customer of the store as they are. He lost his temper and started shouting that he would not return other items since he had to close the store. I didn't argue with him. The cashier completed the return of one item that was allowed, I thanked him and calmly left. I must say that I have never had such an experience before. This man's name is Jonathan and he is a supervisor. Firstly, he shows no respect for clients and even starts shouting. Although I asked him politely. The man can't control himself. Secondly, he, as an experienced employee, could have simply completed this return quickly in a couple of minutes, but instead he chose to show that he is a the boss in the store and began to argue and shout. That is, he didnāt even gain any time. He just wasted a few minutes, brought disappointment to the client and a nervous situation for himself. In general, itās surprising since when did store clerks choose who to serve and who not to serve. Jonathan is the first in my memory. I like this store, but I don't think the supervisor acted appropriately. He really wanted to show that he is a the boss, but this is not very good for the reputation of this store. Perhaps he should open his own store and not care about customers at all. Have a good...
Ā Ā Ā Read more20% restocking fee on a broken compressor I went to pick up the compressor in the picture, which a week later still says in stock. They can't find me one, so I got a different kind, which also took 10+min to find. The box they gave me was beat up. Needless to say the compressor is broken and I had to bring it back. The first guy at the store (Chris) tells me he is new and I should wait for the other cashier as he doesn't know how to do returns. The other guy kept telling me I had to go get a compressor from the Isle around the corner and that is all. I insisted he get me the same one from the back. Long story short he said I am not understanding and I should talk to the manager, oh that was Chris and I am back talking to him. Well Chris finally gave up and went to the back and got me a new one. Let's just say that it was in a nice box and the compressor wasn't damaged at all. Will never step in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a pair of bolt cutters that immediately broke and when I went to return them they wouldn't take them back. They would only allow an exchange but considering they constantly break 5 seconds into use this isn't an acceptable response. The corporate line even said this is unacceptable and that they would refund me if they could (they could have refunded an online order) but since it was an in store purchase I had to go through a store. I spoke with the manager manager Marco and he said he would not refund me and that he could go against corporate policy because they do leave a line in there for "manager discretion". Meaning that he could refund me if he wanted to but doesn't want to. For anyone needing tools I would recommend going to any other store besides this one because they'll sell you stuff that doesn't work then claim they can only exchange for another item that...
