Sport Audio — Local services in Medford

This was my second time I went to Sport Audio. I didn't have to shop around or read reviews because of how totally impressed I was the first time I had work done at the shop. Even if there was a establishment near that had lower prices, (no chance) I would not go, simply because of the quality of work, the reasonable time in which it takes, and the great customer service that goes along with it.

This time I had no doubts that the work I needed done was going to get done in a timely manner and at the highest level of quality possible, and at a shockingly low price. It is great to know that Art and the crew has what it takes to get it done, no sweat, and with superior customer service.

A few things that stand out about this business is the atmosphere. I thoroughly respect the way that the entire staff speaks to their customers like they are an actual person. No phony baloney, overly friendly way of communicating. They are real with their customers and it is very apparent from the time you walk in there, to the time you get your keys back.

I recently purchased a new vehicle and wanted to upgrade the stereo deck and have my two 12’s installed. My first choice was Best Buy. The agent there went through the costs with labor and the grand total was almost $400. This seemed a little high so I stopped by Sport Audio and talked to the owner. He explained everything that was required and with labor it was just under $200. Since this was a smaller shop and not as well-known as Best Buy I was skeptic. However, the owner seemed very confident and knowledgeable so I went with him and saved $200 in the process. My only concern was that my 12’s with the box set awkward in the trunk due to the wheel wells. I showed him and he confidently told me he would make it work. Once his work was done he showed me his work and I was definitely impressed. He mounted the box in the trunk on the wheel wells fitting perfectly and very securely. He didn’t leave it awkward like I figured it was going to have to. He took his time and made sure it wasn’t only secured but looked good. Local, family owned, and very reliable. I went to Sport Audio about 2 years ago, and they did a great job on my vehicle then. I called around in the morning looking to set up an appointment to get the stereo system I purchased installed by a local shop. Sport Audio had said they were over a week out on appointments, and I tried other local shops with the same result. Art called me back about 20 mins after I had called him and told me he had a cancellation and could get me in that day, which worked perfect for me. I like the 'no frills' attitude and willingness to gain my business at Sport Audio, they are top notch.
