My rating has to be at least one star. The fact that Dr. Sils considered himself Patient-Centered, his words not mine, is a mockery of what means to have doctors work for us and not the other way around. We spend our hard earned money just the same way they do, one bill at a time, so what makes him think that he can force us to pay for his choice in building a new lab, when his old one was sufficient. I used to be a patient until he allowed his manager of his office, Glenda to call me a liar in the front drive way of the office in front of other patients entering the building all because no one informed us we had had or appointment canceled on us. When we reported that we had actually been exposed to COVID, lo and behold, investigations later and we were telling the truth. Youād think a doctor who was patient centered, again his words not mine would be concerned with his other patientsā health? Hmmm. Funny. Youād think, well hereās news, Sils and Glenda, we do get telemedicine visits just fine. And yes our insurance does pay the bills, however you are now three more patients less, due to your very unprofessional ethical boundary breaking, and lying to us, multiple occasions, plus my husbandās back was so bad due to his damage and yet you never referred him to a a surgeon who was capable and court him off his meds, for no violations!! None! How dare you Shawn Sils! How dare you Glenda!! No, thanks to you heās suffered for years, almost unable to walk!! How dare you! Not only are you not ethical Iād argue you are negligent! Forcing a patient off the meds for no reason what so ever that you could legally give, because you gave him three different reasons why, why lie Shawn? Huh? At least be accurate Shawn! No more. We spend our money a lot more wisely, and now not for just pain blocking things that were temporary. Thatās your Patient Centered care in action when you come to Touchstone Pain Interventional Clinic, where you most definitely wonāt get any integrity what so ever. Iāve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst visit 12/18/2023 Dr. Tracy said she was putting in an authorization for the injection immediately coming out of the examination room, as she was walking away from us she held the paperwork up saying I'm sending it off now. We waited, never heard back. On 12/26/2023 I called them, I spoke with Michelle whom told me it was authorized just waiting on the Doctor's schedule to make the injection appointment. Again we waited NO call, I called back 1/10/2023 spoke with Deanna whom told me Michelle gave us incorrect information on 12/26/2023, that it was NOT authorized, and they just sent in the authorization on 1/10/2323. we wait & Again NO call from them, I called 1/17/2023 spoke with Deanna once again, whom said it JUST now went in on 1/16/2023, this is now 2-days shy of 1-month from initial visit, meanwhile my insurance denies the Injection but tells us we can appeal it, that the Touchstone didn't provide enough info, to have Touchstone call their Doctor ( peer to peer ) to see if we can get it approved, we called them on 2/5/2024 gave them insurance info & phone number to call. On 2/19/2024 Jamie of touchstone called to inform us that after relaying the peer to peer call info to Dr. Tracy, that Dr. Tracy's message back to us was she won't make the call to the insurance for us. WOW, here's our thoughts on this facility & how they chose to handle our case.. If they don't want to go the extra mile for their patients, which was clear to see ( they do not), and could careless to have wasted precious PAIN time, thus NOT allowing us the opportunity months ago to seek other facilities whom would care, was clearly a careless and disrespectful move on their part. Bottom line even if the Insurance decided to approval the injection now, WE NOW REFUSE to go through Touchstone's facility. We spoke with our Insurance today and they agreed with our decision to look for another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moregetting appointments with them is vary hard 3 to 4 months just to get an appointment then a month or so to get into the office...then you have to wait to get the follow-up appointment if you need more than one treatment then the wait time starts all over again
if you call to talk to the person that makes the appointments she NEVER answers the phone and asks for you to leave a message that she will get back to you .....that takes weeks......no matter how many times you try to call her.... I get the impression that she plays favorites when she makes appointments ...if you complain about her response time the longer it takes to get that appointment !!!!! I also get the impression that the office manager is not up to date on what is going on the office as far as appointments go...
the staff that does the procedures is top notch!!! they are good efficient and vary friendly and seen to really care about you...
they are great it's just a problem getting to them
after meeting with the COO face to face and talking about my problems with getting appointments and getting call backs, the problems have been looked into and taken care of
she assured me that this has been fixed and would not happen again
