Been going here for years!
Management needs to do a better job at educating these kids on how to have good customer service skills. Give them the tools to handle situations on their own, or have a manager or lead on staff at all times. And whatever you're doing that makes them terrified of making a mistake in order to make a customer happy, stop it. I made the suggestion that the girls just simply re-make my drink with the correct one and they made the comment that they were afraid of getting in "trouble". Interesting.
I had an incorrect order given to me and instead of just replacing the order with what I actually asked for, I was first told that I was the one who ordered incorrectly (I didn't, same thing all these years), then I was forced to wait while they called their manager trying to figure out how to refund me holding up a line of customers, then had me stand aside while they served that long line of customers while my perfectly made correct drinks just sat there for 10 over minutes.
It sucked! I felt punished for their mistake. I tried communicating to the girls how awful that felt and that I thought they could have handled it better -- they continued to ignore me instead of validating the confusion and experience. I tried contacting management through their website and zero response, so here I am just trying to share my experience. Pretty done with...
Read moreDon’t do it! This place will rip you off! We ordered a large milk tea $6.25 and had to add boba for 75 cents. Total $7.00. + tip (which I now regret giving) My daughter drank it before we even got to the car. Upon arriving home we measured how much was in it… a large only had 16 oz (2 cups) and TONS of ice. There was a hollow bottom in the cup (pictured) that made the cup look larger than it actually was. The small probably had only 8 ounces of fluid. Needles to say we will not be going back ever again. Now I understand why the place was so dead now. Not sure how they have stayed in business. There was also a table of samples when we walked through the door and all of them were spilled all over the table.. the girls hadn’t bothered to clean them up. I think that should have been our first clue to turn around and run away from this place. I suspect they don’t get much repeat business. I’ve added pictures of our “large” boba cup next to the two cups of water. I have also shown a picture of the hollow bottom on the cup. If you go here at least know ahead of time you will be paying around 50 cents an ounce for your drink. Generally a large (at most boba places) is 24 ounces so this was half the size I was...
Read moreI was really excited the first time trying boba last week. I ordered a green tea with green apple and kiwi boba, and it was less than 5 dollars. I was super pleased with the first experience I went back. I ordered the same exact thing with a different girl, and it was almost 7 dollars! There was an extra charge for a "miscellaneous" upcharge! I told her the day gal that helped me the first time didn't add that extra charge and her response was "that's how I was taught!" I walked out! I'm super sad about this because the first experience was fantastic. This time was just...
