ALDI — Local services in Medina

We switched to shopping here shortly after it opened. Prices were good and the food was solid. We stopped shopping here after being treated unbelievably rudely by one of the workers multiple times. This store has a problem with one associate in particular who seems to think it’s ok to constantly disrespect people verbally because of what she perceives your politics to be. (She was wrong by the way.) We didn’t even need to speak to her. She felt it her duty to come over to us and give us a piece of her mind not once, but two separate times even though we informed her she was incorrect and we don’t even like politics. The final straw was when we were surrounded by police in the store who followed us down the aisles for a little while. They then walked up to her and said I don’t think so and she apologized for wasting their time. She actually swatted us!! She called the police claiming that my wife or myself had brought a weapon into the store. Obviously we didn’t and no trouble came to us, but imagine what could have happened. With that said I’ll gladly pay more money to shop where we used to shop. At least there we won’t be treated disrespectfully and be supporting that persons wages. This is not towards the store itself or the employees, everyone is always very nice and helpful. This does pertain to the fact that after you check out you are given a single MINUTE to click credit and slide your card. Listen I get wanting to speed up the lines and get people out asap but you can't expect people to be put on a timer for you to make money quicker. People forget their wallet and have to run back to their car, or there are older shoppers who need extra time to get out their wallet and get their card and then by the time they do their whole cart is canceled and they have to start over which defeats the whole purpose of "speed and convenience" if you ask me. I would HIGHLY suggest that if speed and customer service are as important to you as you have made it seem to be in the past, this should be fixed quicker then the orders are being timed out. LOVE aldi and I'll continue to shop there so I will be anticipating...

I've been a customer here ever since they opened, and I've been satisfied with the quality of their products...until now!! I bought a box of six 4-pack cartons of protein yogurt, something I've purchased several times before, and my wife and I both had - er - adverse reactions to it. I tried to return it, but now they're not accepting returns!! This batch is inedible!! Why couldn't they just take it to the dumpster [or let me take it to the dumpster, as I offered to do...], and give me my refund!! This is nonsense!!! Aldi owes me $17.94!!!
