I was in the beginning of November 2018, i bought 2 movies and one game the store stated i had a discount for my birthday this month; i have to walk 2 miles to get there so i used my discount for my birthday and when i got home i tryed to play the game i bought and it would not work, so i had to walk all the way back down to the store to get an different game which i had the invoice for my purchases, the store stated to find another game if i could, when i found another game i brought it up to the register to check out and the an arguement was started about me using my discount more than once because it was used on the game i had to return because it didn't work and i could not use it again it didn't matter the game didn't i had to pay full price for the other game but they would charge full price for both game in the return arguement continued so i stated give me a refund. And i will pass on this information if u get any discount for ur birthday and it don't work they will becharge full price for both the exchange and the game or what ever you get because that's the way it works there in medina ohio the employees will give you an extremely hard time over the return even more if it's the same day you bought it, but I'll never be back there because the employees are always right over the customers so be careful you could have a similar transaction I livingly hate that store now after 20 years of shopping there! Read moreWent in to trade an older ps3 towards a newer ps5. The manager JB processed the trade, I wasn’t too happy with the dollar amount but I understand retailers need to make money. I bought the PS5, a game, and an extra controller, only to get home and notice the trade credit was not applied. I called and asked for JB to which he then blamed me for not presenting the small receipt for the credit. He proceeded to tell me to stop back in without the items and he can apply it. I make a special trip there and was told that they had to return EVERYTHING and complete a whole other transaction causing me to be charged $550 twice in one day by them while I wait 7-10 business days for the first refund. The girl at the counter my second visit offered to cash me out for the lower amount not caring I just spent $550 6 hours ago. I now have to go back a second time, HOPING to get this fixed. Go elsewhere. PLEASE
Update: I went back to talk to the manager, and from what it appeared to be a miscommunication. The cashier did not seem to understand what the manager was trying to explain to her what to do. When I went back, the manager sorted it out, gave his apologies, and explained that he was happy to make things right. Read moreI’ve never had an issue selling at the exchange until now. I brought in a basically brand new ps5 with the box, headset, extra controller, and charging stand. The offered $80 cash this was bad enough, but I understood as they had a large stock I wasn’t mad, but when I picked my items back up my items were a mess! All the cords were zip tied up and put in a basket nicely. The controllers were on the stand, etc. Upon picking it up everything was thrown back into the box. The cords were thrown in. They even took the stand that comes attached to the PlayStation off that is secured with a screw and left it off! Terribly rude. It’s one thing to offer someone a low price, but the least they could do was respect my items and leave them in the same condition they came in. Won’t be back again.
