We were in a family trip and looked forward to getting some old time photos done in Medora, as we’ve had them taken at other places we’ve traveled to and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and energy around getting photos done. When we arrived all the girls were sitting down on their phones but hurting shot up standing as I mentioned we had a scheduled photo shoot. As we checked in, we were given options to choose the style and we opted for cowgirls and cowboys. After our only choice of the entire session was made we were ushered quickly to the back and they rushed us into clothing. They placed the hats on our heads and as my son was trying to get his bangs out of his eyes they yelled at him, “Do NOT touch the hats!” There were no mirrors for us to double check our hair, looks, how the hats fit, etc. (did not see a sign that says do not touch hats either) Then the photo shoot happened and they snapped a total of 8 shots, with two of them to test lighting. They told us how to pose, didn’t offer to ask us for a fun input and it didn’t take more than 2 minutes for the sitting. It was rush, rush, rush to get out of the outfits and then view the photos. We didn’t love any of the photos, some were slightly blurred. Even with process of elimination we felt pressured to purchased. To pay $78 for a rushed photo session, unable to have a quick glance for any hair or outfit touch us, along with unprofessional and snappy staff - please think twice...
Read moreI really wanted this photo because now I have hair after chemo and 2 brain surgeries. My fiance didn't want the photo, but was doing it for me. The girls were all so nice, but they are clearly not professional photographers. The photographer was "checking her lights" and took at least 2 photos that we were not ready for. We never saw the photos on the camera, so we couldn't adjust our poses to fit our liking. We trusted the photographer and the other girls who stood around watching, and they said it looked great. We never saw the pictures or were told to adjust our pose. When we finally saw the photos on the computer, we didn't like any of them. To take more, even though it was their fault, they would charge us more money. We were going to be charged a sitting fee no matter what. I felt like crying, and almost did. We found 2 different photos that we still didn't like, and they were able to photoshop them together, which they did great. We bought the photo and the most expensive frame, but each day we see this photo in our home, we dislike it more, and feel cheated. Instead of looking like an arm wrestling match, the photo just looks like we really don't like holding hands. It might be slower to show customers their poses on the camera, but it would do wonders for customer satisfaction. If you have extra money that you don't care about wasting, this place is fine. If you want a product you will love, wait for a...
Read moreWe loved coming here. Everyone was so kind and energetic. I do wish that there would be options to be given digital files as the team there doesn't have time to actually edit. A vignette and contrasting go a long way. I photoshopped out the scarf they had me wear to hide my sunburn. I also edited in an actual background as the white wall behind the windows and door ruined the illusion. What I didn't appreciate were the teenagers constantly adjusting my body and outfit to make the photo more modest when that wasn't the vibe I...
