I bought shoes from this store last week for an interview, I wore them for less than an hour; came home and upon taking them off the entire seam ripped out of the strap. When I took them back to the store, the women at the store told me "they don't take worn merchandise back", I explained the situation and told her I just wanted another pair. She asked the manager, whom didn't even acknowledge me, he just shook his head no. The woman came back and advised they wouldn't accept them, she said "for all I know, they were ripped when you bought them". Please keep in mind I spent $188 on this trip to ROSS. In addition, I had my 3 children with me; 6, 3 and 1. The 3 yr old had to go to the bathroom, when I took him to the bathroom, the cart wouldn't fit in to the door (with my other children in it) so I stood at the door, holding the door open so I could watch my 3 year old. The dressing room clerk preceded to talk to another clerk, in a negative manner, as "why would I just not go in with him, why would I do that, I can't believe that" and on and on and on. As I left and walked past the clerk, I politely told her I could hear everything she said, and next time she decides to talk about a customer to do it quieter so no one could hear. Needless to say, I will never being going back to this store and I will make sure to tell everyone I know and anyone that vacations with us to not go to this store! The worst customer service EVER! Their mission statement says "our focus has been on bringing our customers a constant stream of high quality department and specialty store brands at extraordinary savings", something that falls apart after an hour of wearing it, is...
Read moreMy Aunt went to return a dress she bought earlier along with her receipt and the tags were still in place. Cashier pressured her to exchange it instead of returning the money. She came to the car feeling disappointed and irritated. I went in to ask why they couldn't just give my Elderly Aunt her money back, she replied, " You people are sometimes confused in what you want so I just suggested something better and she happily accepted." I said 'Listen you stuck up, dirty witch, YOU PEOPLE have gotten away with so much evil its time for it to come to an end! You are lucky I am with my family in this god-forsaken racist town that will be the first to burn in hell" I replied. She ask if I want to see a manager, I admit I said if they look like YOU, then I will pass. They gave my Aunt an ugly, colorful, dashika-looking dress that looked worse than the first! I...
Read moreThere is all but like 1 person at this store that doesn’t have an attitude. Not going to go into the whole story but the lady at checkout rolled her eyes at me because she didn’t hear what I said. Then she even went as far as making a comment. I apologized more than once for something that wasn’t even my fault and got no response. And the manager is always slamming carts together and walks around looking angry. I think I need to start going to a different Ross. Life is hard, but some people make it even harder. We all have stuff going on, there really is no need for attitude. And if people get on your nerves so much, maybe don’t work in retail or customer...
