ORANGE IS THE NEW BLONDE SHORT REVIEW: My stylist was Gina, first impressions where great. However, she seem to shut down halfway through the work not giving me the correct color honey blonde and haircut we agreed on with the pictures I showed her. She offered to fix it the next day. Next day Gina was cold, became argumentative I then asked for a refund she yelled at me āOh you will get your refundā then stormed out. Spoke with the manager and she was kind enough to give us our refund. It was scary how gina went from friendly to aggressive because we told her my hair was orange not brown. Gina shot down my confidence, now I have to go out into the world looking like a penny
FULL REVIEW: I arrived on time for my 12pm appointment on Sunday. Gina Charee was my stylist. My first impressions where excellent as Gina gave me a tour of the establishment as a first time customer. She eventually lead me to the center room where the salon was located. This is where Gina gave her consultation where we discussion my goal of a Honey blonde color and which haircut I wanted. I showed Gina some pictures of the color designed and how I wanted my to be cut. She said it was possible, but could turn out a slightly darker color āLight brown with a hint of blondeā. I was impressed by her attention to detail when she was apply the bleach and foil neatly. She initially took her time, working in small sections to insure excellent coverage. She was initially nice and cheerful. We talked about life and my bad experience with coloring at a salon previously. She assured me there was nothing to fear she had my back and it will turn out great.
With the bleaching complete she washed my hair and this is where things went wrong. After applying the toner I believe she realized it was the wrong color. Because she got really quite. Then after a few minutes my fiancee came over and took a look and she started talking about how it is going to come out so good donāt worry about how dark it looks and the red color, it will lighten up. At this point, things started to really feel rushed. She trimmed my hair, not even giving me the haircut we discussed. The blow out was painful and incomplete. I then committed on how my hair actually looked orange and my fiancee agreed. Gina kept trying convince us it looked excellent even getting her co-workers to agree with the statement. But seeing we were not swayed, she offered to recolor it the next day as they were closing soon at no charge. So we agreed, and paid $304 dollars and a tip of $60, in good faith it would be fixed tomorrow.
The next day arrived on time for my 1pm appointment. However, Gina was standoffish, totally a different person. I set down at the booth and began talking about how I didnāt like the orange hair and what we could do to at least make it into a light brown. I asked her if there was any chance I could be a honey blonde today and she raised her voice saying I will never be a platinum blonde. I told her I didnāt ask for that I asked for honey blonde. Then she walked away with an attitude came back and told me I needed to sign a waiver that if my hair came out damaged today it wouldnāt be her fault. This is when my fiancee stepped in and said I was not going to sign this as it should have been done correctly yesterday. Then she yelled about how she was doing it for free. Then he said she didnāt have to be doing this today if she gave me honey blonde yesterday as we agreed on. Then she went on saying she was offended and how she worked her ass off yesterday. She then moved towards my fiancee acting very aggressive at this time I asked for a refund. She then yelled in my face āOh you will get your refundā, then stormed off. We spoke with the manager and got the refund.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am new to the area and went on the hunt for a new Salon that offered manicures, pedicures, massages, facials and of course a selection of hair services and other spa services. I found a few online and after reading the reviews, decided to give Imperial a try. I called on a Thursday to try to get an appointment for a pedicure and haircut. They said that they were super booked on haircuts for a while but I could get a pedicure on Saturday. When I scheduled the appointment, I received the new āCovid-19ā rules (canāt bring anything in except a form of payment and a phone, wear a mask, call when you get there and wait in your car until they call you in). Annoying, but okay. I did all that and once inside, they took my temperature, squirted some sanitizer in my hands and had me fill out a form with medical questions. Finally, I got the pedicure with Chad. He was great. Did a good job, was friendly and helpful. When I was checking out, I was told that they had a bunch of openings for haircuts on Sunday! I was so excited because I really wanted to cut some of my hair off... Iām still trying to get used to Florida but itās tough with all this thick hair!! Anyway, I scheduled my appointment for 4:30 and showed up 15 minutes early. I called to let them know I was there and I was told that they would call me in shortly. By 5:20, I still hadnāt received a call so I called them to ask if I need to cancel my appointment or if Iād be called in soon. An hour is a LONG time to sit in your car without a purse, drink, bathroom etc. and I had my air conditioning blasting the whole time because it was 90 degrees outside. When I called, I was put on hold for about 3 minutes, but when they picked up and I told them I was still waiting, she said āoh, sorry she forgot to call you! We can get you in tomorrow at 4:30?ā. At that point, Iād already been there 2 days in a row and didnāt want to make it a third. So I declined. In my opinion, you could get a good pedicure for at least half the price somewhere else (I spend $68 including tip and a $5 covid fee), and you could get much better customer service pretty much anywhere else. So here I am, back on the hunt for a decent salon with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to imperial salon off Eau gallie and south patrick blvd in Indian harbor beach. I went in for a hair consultation with Hallie on 3/17, which is when I was told that I would receive this service for set price I proceeded to see her for the set appointment on 4/03, the hair stylist proceeded to tell me that the price would increase because the thickness and āstateā of my hair even after seeing my natural hair without products at the consultation (Mind you I have curly/wavy hair). She then proceeded to bleach my hair for 7hrs and was not able to put color in my hair the day of the appointment because of how much hair I had. She set an appointment the following day for color which she then proceeded to put brown dye all over my hair which was confusing to me since it wasnāt what I asked for. But since she was the stylist I assumed that she knew what was happening. She then washed my hair out which then I proceeded to say āI donāt mean to alarm you but did you forget what the picture looked like because I didnāt have the blonde strips or anything like itā she then told me that āshe meant to talk to me about it and told me that my hair was so damaged that I wouldnāt be able to get what I asked for and that I can come another time to get itā at that moment I was so upset but I held myself together cause I hate confrontation. I finished paying and left crying because it looked so bad and it was not what i asked for. I spent 700$ down the drain and when I went back explained how I felt they were so rude and acted like they didnāt care. The stylist and Assistant Manager also said that there is a no refund policy on hair and when I asked where it said that I was told that it was on the consult form. Which I proceeded to pull up a picture off and it did not say that. I showed the Assistant manager the form and she said nothing. I was not given anyoneās phone number to speak with and they would not work out an agreement with me to fix my hair. Iām so upset.. happy...
