Game X Change — Local services in Memphis

I used this location to purchase accessories for my Nintendo Wii U. I purchased an item that was suppose to make my controller motion plus. It did not work. I took it back the next day without the receipt. I did not want to refund. I wanted to exchange for one that worked since the one they sold me did not. The manager saw the price tag still on the product, so she knew it was from her store. However, she kept me waiting there while she went through the employee log and register paperwork looking for the $20 something dollar transaction that I made after 5pm. I even gave her the name of the cashier. She claimed that she didn't see the transaction nor was the cashier working that night. She would not exchange the product. She did offer to buy it back. I ended up selling it back to her for a whopping $5 when I paid approximately $23 with taxes included. That took a lot of their cool points with me. The evening manager instructed me that she could have easily tested the product and exchanged it since the price tag with store name, price amount, and stock number was right on the merchandise. My fiance, two kids, and I go in there a few times a week and every time the staff has been more than helpful. They have most of the movies we are looking for and most of the games we want and when they don't they do the effort to find out if a location does or not. Together we own six different consoles and for every game her and I could come up with the staff has been able to tell us about the game and has shared their knowledge of not only the game but it's pros and cons for what we are interested in when looking for games. They are always friendly and they even treat my 4 year-old as if he was one of their own. This location has the right people for the job who are willing to go above and beyond and answer any questions you have no matter how many you have. DON'T SHOP HERE! they buy your games and consoles for a very very low price. Then they turn around and sell it back to you at the maximum price. My Experience with this place is horrible. I bought a game for 7 bucks. And I had to take it back because it didn't work. When I returned to the store WITH THE RECEIPT. They offered my in store credit then said I can sell the game back to them for 75 cent unbelievable. I will never shop at this store where they scam their customers into buying their bogus products and expect you to be ok with your level of disappointment placed on you due to their lack of appreciation toward their customers. I would suggest another game store beside this one.
