Definitely watch your receipts here! I did a Nordstrom online return here yesterday for 2 pair of the same shoe and a pair of jeans ordered from Hautelook. The cashier seemed to be new and took a long time with the return. As she was processing the return, she kept stating none of the items had a tag and I didn’t have a receipt for the purchases. Both shoes purchased on my Nordstrom cc and the pants via Paypal. Furthermore, the items didn’t come with tags or receipt, which I explained to her. After about 15 minutes and the cashier receiving help from 2 other associates, I was able to get out of there. Only to discover this morning one of the shoes were not on the return receipt, I no longer have the shoes and I’m being charged $90 for them. Ugghh, now I have to go back today to figure this out. I should have double checked, but was in a rush, especially after the long wait. I’ve done so many online order returns here and haven’t had any issues. I hope this isn’t the direction this Nordstrom Rack is headed. It’s the only Nordstrom store in the city. Fingers crossed this situation doesn’t get an worse.

Read morePlaced online order for a few things for my son. I chose PickUp instead of shipping to my address. I placed the order on 7/31 which is a Wednesday. I called to check on the order Friday because I hadn't heard anything about the status in email or phone call or text. The young lady said it's not ready to call back on Sunday. I did and they said it's not ready but not giving me any information about estimated arrival time or anything, no email since I purchased on 7/31 I said ok can I cancel? I was told I have to do that online smfh, I called to cancel due to the order taking so long. They told me it's coming in 2 different packages from 2 different states... ok cool. But why haven't I gotten any updates on my order and why can't y'all cancel online or in-store??? If I wanted to wait 1-2 weeks to have item's shipped, then I would've had them shipped to my home. If I wouldn't have called them the definitely weren't calling me and I could get the items on Friday at the latest. Never again! Beware of...
Read moreWhen the store opened it seemed a mid-tier Nordstrom Rack (i.e. minimal options for high end designer merchandise), but this was not surprising for a market like Memphis and the store was well merchandised to feature highlighred items and solid Nordstrom brands. After a long absence due to Covid I went in and thought the store was closing because the new rack configuration and merchandising screamed "pop-up warehouse sale." Multiple trips later (to return items bought online from Rack or regular Nordstrom) it is clear that this is their new vibe. Shopping in a Goodwill clearance center has more appeal so it seems that I'll use this as an in-person site for online returns and stick to TJ Maxx and Marshall's for in-person bargain shopping.
I hope someone from Nordstrom corporate sees this, because I'd really like a reconsideration of these changes ... or to at least call it a "Rack clearance outlet" (do those exist?) because that's what...
