Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Memphis

My family and I love this place. I really do enjoy the environment they have along with the greatest soft rock music of the 80s and 90s. Where else can I hear Richard Marx and Wilson Phillips while I’m eating chicken salad? The staff is courteous and friendly. The managers are very polite and very appreciative of your business. I really do appreciate several of the young cashiers being very knowledgeable about the food they are serving. They’ve given me great suggestions when I want to try a different flavor. However, I would give one star to some of the clientele who frequent this place. All too many times have I been waiting in line behind someone who thinks that grape salad should be made different for them than the rest of the customers. What’s up with adults ordering off the kids’ menu? If you’re 5’4”, over 35, and weigh 285, you don’t need to order off the kids’ menu. You’re not fooling anyone. You’re not on a diet. You’re cheap. Don’t even get me started on the people who come in reeking of marijuana. C’mon people, there’s a reason Taco Bell is open 24 hours. Please go there. Anyway, great people here and delicious food. As sad as I was to see Sears go, I’m glad a wonderful establishment has filled its location...

I had an old south chicken salad. The salad under the ball of chicken salad was bad. I have photos. I told the manager and was offered another salad.... I said no....she then walked away. Really! Follow up: Even though the local manager was not very customer friendly, the company reached out to me. Mrs. Erin M. saw my review and offered to make things right. She listened to my complaint and assured me that their company does not promote the type of response I received or serve the quality of food I was served. She gave me another chance to try their restaurant and hopefully receive their quality food like it should have been served and a better customer experience. I am 56 years old and have never been reached out to like this company has done. My hat is off to you and your representative Mrs. Erin M. Thank you and yes I will give your business...

I’ve been eating here for a while now. The food is still great, however the staff leaves much to be desired. The pad few times I’ve gone in I’ve been met with a funky attitude by staff that acts like I’m bothering them by coming in and ordering. On my last visit I got that same attitude like I was wasting their time with my simple order. I sit down after ordering my to go order and look up at the cashier who is just glaring at me. I like to think I’m misinterpreting, but it’s just too consistent with the sour attitude. I work a job where I get cursed out and have to physically fight people frequently, but that doesn’t stop me from serving the next person with a smile. Get better staff. Won’t be returning to this location...
