I went here a few days ago with my little girl as well. Our hair was already braided but needed to come down. The owner, I assume, is the only one that speaks English out of 3 ladies. She told me that it would be $40.00 to take down and asked what styles we wanted. I specifically told her that I would just pay the $40.00 for myself to take braids down, and by the time you start on my hair, my daughter would have her hair down. But then I turn around, and one of them go over, helping my daughter take her hair down. I then stated that she, meaning my daughter, is taking her own hair down. I received a head knoll up and down. Which indicated to me that you understood I was not paying an extra $40.00 . So the styles chosen were priced at 150.00 for my daughter and 120.00 my hair. My own mistake was not having my own hair with us. Which I understood. Our hair was washed lightly with white rain shampoo. There has to be a plumbing problem from the intense hot water sprayed on my hair. I still have a sore spot on my head from it. The manager stayed on the phone speaking Nigeria th

But the price styles for us was a little to high and then still charge me that extra 40.00 for take down for my daughter, her style should have been 90-100.00 with the hair included and because for a child head. My style should've been 70-80.00 with the hair included. They braid really well. I feel they took advantage. When I said and it was agreed that my daughter had taken her own hair down. There was no one there when we arrived. My 3 stairs was for my experience This is an African braid business. The work...

Read moreok, but one doesn't FEEL SAFE THERE! I wouldn't let my wife shop there alone, and neither one of us will go there after dark! People drive fast and reckless through the parking lot, shout and scream angrily at others! I'm not scared at ALL; but don't feel comfortable when I feel that need to look over my shoulder ALL THE TIME! Inside ALL the stores (business) there are FINE, Clean and Safe feeling. The owners don't seem to CARE and neither does the City of Memphis. One question, would the owners send their Wives and Love Ones there alone,...
