The owners of the Emerge Building in the Historic South Main Arts District of Memphis promote their facility as having unique event and office spaces. That it does. It is a handsomely converted 1910 factory with refinished wood floors and exposed wood beams, square columns and brick walls. My favorite is the “Tristar Space” on the third floor, a 7000 sq. ft., rectangular room with some 15 windows in three exterior walls that let in a lot of natural light. On just a computer you can view the entire building or a single floor suspended in space, and then spin it around or zoom into a single room (the “doll house” view); display a floor plan of a floor of your choice, and then zoom in on an individual room (“floor plan”); or wander throughout the building by clicking in the direction you want to go (“explore 3-D space”). The Emerge Building is an absolutely gorgeous event space located in downtown Memphis! It is the perfect place to have any event or gathering, and the views from the rooftop are absolutely breath-taking. I was proposed to on the rooftop of this building, so it has a special place in my heart. The Emerge Building recently opened a new space (The Tri-Star Space) and it is beautiful! I love the exposed brick, natural lighting, hardwood flooring, and the location is a bonus.
