A little breakfast eatery- looks modern, and hip. I stopped by to get my weekend brunch. It was pet friendly, and almost packed. The coffee was very regular, and absolutely basic. The chicken biscuit was decent. The biscuits are very soft and flaky. Although they made the sandwich out of it, it’s impossible to eat as a whole - they breaks. The biscuits tasted good with the smell of beer in it. The fried chicken ( with honey sriracha type sauce) was very hard, but tasty. It was crunchy from the outside however, a little less juicy from inside. Overall very hard to even cut with knife! There was a candied pickle on top of it, which was absolutely terrific. I have never tasted any pickle like that. I got the potatoes as a side ( not included - ordered separately), and bacons ( ordered separately). The potatoes were the highlight and star of the show. They were perfectly crunchy and spicy from the outside- however, soft, and smooth inside. Overall, i would expect the biscuit to come up with at least one side included in the price, otherwise call it overpriced!! I can go back to the place only for the potatoes though.

By The Brewery is the perfect spot for brunch with friends or a work lunch. Its intimate interior is beautifully decorated and very warm and inviting, and the patio seating outside is a great option for dog parents and the more COVID-concious. The menu offers great options with a wide variety. The biscuits are fuffy, and the filling options are top notch. The grit cake was the surprise star for me since the savory grits mixed with the biscuit beautifully. And the ability to add an egg and cheese to this for just a $1.50 just set it over the top. I'll be returning to this spot in the future, and will perhaps get breakfast or lunch to go and then enjoy it in the park along the river.

You wanna know what southern comfort food is like? Southern comfort food is biting into a crispy hand breaded boneless chicken breast Tennessee Street Biscuit from By the Brewery. Southern comfort food is more than taste. At my first bite, I felt subtle joy settle deep in my soul. One of my favorite breakfast foods is a chicken biscuit, and I 🙋‍♂️haven’t had this feeling for several years since we lived in East Tennessee. It came with a thick homemade pickle slice and sriracha honey. I also made it a bowl by adding an egg and cheddar cheese. Our friends ordered a yogurt bowl and an avocado toasted sandwich. I enjoyed eating breakfast here, and it’s a place where the locals eat.

I stopped by The Brewery on the evening of June 10, 2025. I mistakingly opened the kitchen door which is on the side as well thinking it was the entry door for customers. I was saw bugs all over the food, and very, very unsanitary conditions. The owner yelled at me nastily angry at the fact that she knew I saw the condition of her kitchen. I tried to explain that I saw the sign and a door on the side, not knowing it was her kitchen. She continued yelling and cursing me out when she should’ve been angry at herself for keeping her kitchen in piss poor, unsanitary condition with food lying amongst filth, open and out with bugs all over it! Someone needs to shut this place down. You guys are giving this business all these stars and glowing reviews not understanding that she cares so little about her customers that she’s serving bug’s leftover food to all of you. That’s GOD’s honest truth! Lady you should...

That was the best service, food, and overall experience I've had at a restaurant since moving here. All of the people working there were so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I loved the type of music that was playing and I'm so glad it wasn't blaring loud like it is in so many restaurants.

The food was incredible! I got the 'brisket biscuit bowl' and my wife got the 'avocado toasted egg-in-the-hole' and a fruit cup. The brisket bowl tasted like a really tender and juicy pot roast. The bacon jelly melted on the biscuit and it was indescribably good.

The avocado egg-in-the hole was super creamy and I love that they mixed the avocado with goat cheese. The fruit cup is well worth it too! Every piece of fruit was very fresh and perfectly ripe. I cannot recommend this...
