Hotel Pontotoc — Hotel in Memphis

I could not be happier with my stay at Hotel Pontotoc. I booked out the Dame Bar for my birthday party and stayed in the hotel on the same night as the party, and had an extremely positive experience with both.||The hotel has a unique charm unlike any hotel that I have ever stayed in and checking in and parking are both easy and convenient. I stayed in one of the suites and loved the overall look and feel of the room. It was very spacious, well laid out, and designed impeccably. Hotel Pontotoc is in a league of its own when it comes to the overall atmosphere and vibes of the hotel. It highlights the extensive history of the hotel while remaining very tasteful.||The Dame Bar downstairs was an excellent choice to host my birthday party. The food and drinks are phenomenal and the overall look and feel of the bar is exquisite. It is the perfect size for hosting mid-size events and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host their next party/event. Additionally, the staff were exceptional. Drinks and food were served to everyone in a timely manner and all guests were happy. Additionally, staff coordinated with me on a designated time and location to bring out the birthday cake and took it in the back to slice and serve immediately once candles were blown out and pictures were taken. Upon consent, staff even placed all remaining cake in my hotel room fridge after the party. I would like to especially highlight Kyla Kennin for all the hard work she put in to make the party a success. ||Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about Hotel Pontotoc and highly suggest it to anyone looking to stay overnight in Downtown Memphis and/or host their next event. Loved loved this hotel! |Hotel Pontotoc offers a beautifully renovated space that exudes warm vintage charm. The attentive staff made us feel right at home, and by the end of our stay, we had formed such a close bond that leaving felt bittersweet. Our suite was tastefully decorated with cozy wallpaper, featuring a comfortable pullout couch and kitchenette, perfect for families. Honestly, I would’ve loved to take the bed, linens, and sheets home with me!||The bar downstairs, The Dame, is inviting and serves incredible cocktails. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I highly recommend visiting The Dame for its acoustic performances on the back patio during the weekends, where you can unwind with a high-end drink in hand. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to amazing bars and restaurants, including Beale Street.||On Sunday morning, they even held a yoga and Pilates class with mimosas, followed by a distillery tasting in the afternoon on the patio!
