Plaza Wine & Spirit — Local services in Menifee

I went in to buy 2 bottles of beer for my wife and I. When i got to the register, the lady rang me up. The beers were 7 dollars a beer and i said: "Wow! Thats some expensive beer." The lady behind the counter asked for my ID after I made that statement. I gave her my ID and tried to make me feel dumb by explaining the beer, what a microbrewery is, and saying if I didn't know what type of beer it was, I must be under 21 ( I am actually 39). There was a line behind me (customers were waiting on this delightful conversation). I am from out of State and enjoy craft beer. I have never heard of this beer, so I wanted to try it. While it was really good beer, I did not enjoy being talked down to. For the owner of this establishment, I was at the store on Sept. 24, 2020 at approximately 5:13PM. The lady I had the pleasure of speaking to was an older (50's to 60's) white skinny lady. I will not be visiting this store again and I hope this employee enjoys some long hours in customer...

Not sure if they’re not used to seeing diversity, but this older caucasian lady with the bad cough wasn’t too friendly. I also think she may have overcharged me, because ain’t no way a 99 cent Arizona tea, a bag of skittles, and those mini bags of chips that are normally 2/$1 (used to be 0.25 a bag back in the day) came out to four dollars and some change. I think I’d have found a better deal and bigger selection at the gas stations across the street, but I was waiting for my son and I decided to give them a try.
