This review is for my last visit. Previous staff was burnt out and very unkind, I hope they are being retrained or doing something they enjoy more. The new staff is great and I hope they stay.
I have been a client/patient at this location (Bradley rd Menifee, CA 92585) for many years. To be completely honest with you I was getting ready to transfer all of my family's prescriptions elsewhere when my husband was in an accident and underwent emergency back surgery. Previous interactions at this location were hit and miss however, I always felt like I was bothering them when I visited to obtain my medications. This time I was running on very little sleep, my son had a previously planned surgery a day prior to my husbands and I was overwhelmed. I entered the pharmacy about one hour before closing on a Saturday and my husband had been discharged late in the day. It was 1/8/2022, my husband was at home in severe pain. To my absolute horror the hospitalist neglected to fulfill her commitment in sending the medication to the pharmacy. I called the Doctor's office on call number, the hospital nurse that had helped with his discharge and worked with a new to me employee at Walgreens. Nigel, Antonio, Justin and Curtis went above and beyond to help this exhausted wife and mother. They reassured me that they would do everything they could to help me. The prescription finally came across at 5:59 PM. They could have told me they were closed, the old staff did this often. They could have left me to return to my husband but they didn't. They stayed, filled the medication, explained the procedures to administer it and above all else treated me with such compassion. I will keep all hundreds of dollars of prescriptions at this location. I will post reviews on YELP, GOOGLE and send emails to corporate to ensure they receive the recognition they deserve. I hope you see the assets these employees are to...
Read moreI have been a customer of Walgreens for years. Up until a recent pharmacist change, I was treated well and found the pharmacists to be particularly helpful (especially Sonny).
I have been in pain for 10 plus years, undergoing 5 back surgeries, injections, and other painful procedures. I had a recent back surgery a few years back that failed. I have nerve damage in one leg and I find walking difficult on my best days. I have also had new injuries to add to the mix. Unfortunately, the only thing that has helped is pain medication.
I have received my pain meds through Walgreens without issue for the past several years. It is difficult these days to get pain relief with all the deaths associated with opioids. I get tested at my doctors office and my doctor forwards all the necessary documentation to the pharmacy that is required by law. Unfortunately, the pharmacist at Walgreens wants to know everything about me, my treatment, doctors, surgeries, etc, etc. She must think she is my treating physician. She said she will refuse my meds if she does not get my medical plan and know if I am going to taper off the meds. I don't know if it is an authority complex, or she wanted to be a doctor, but it is ridiculous.
I am doing everything I can to not be opioid dependent. I have appointments set up with a doctor to try a spinal cord stimulator and I might need an additional surgery to boot. I just don't like people I don't, who aren't my doctors, getting into my personal and private medical history. My doctors know what they are doing.
My meds are going to be filled somewhere else...
Read moreAbominable. There is never not a problem created out of thin air at this location's pharmacy. In latest example, I need syringes for a medication I take intramuscularly... they were out of what I needed but they told me they would order them. They didn't. But they called in to tell me they were ready (four days later). So I have to now try and make use of the WRONG syringes (half an inch too short - skin is an inch thick... that's all these needles are too... they're not appropriate but they wouldn't give me my script back to go somewhere else to get the RIGHT ones). All I got was a curt "well you can try another pharmacy" (without my script back?!)... but, certainly, I shall. I am NEVER stepping foot into this location again. I suggest nobody go here if at all avoidable. Actually, Walgreen's itself should be avoided.... forget this or that location; they have a responsibility as a franchise to NOT let dysfunctional locations carry on as bad as they do... they apparently don't care; so vote with your...
