I got a gift certificate for my birthday for a 50 min pre-natal massage (8 months pregnant) so I was VERY excited for this spa experience! When I got there i was very lost & called to which I found out I was at the wrong building down the street which was frustrating because it made me late (I was initially a few mins early) they were pleasant though & took me right back to the room. There was no place where to put clothes/belongings other than a small hook on the back of the door. She focused on ONE of my 2 shoulder blades where I hold tension, never once had me turn over to the other side, she also never once massaged my lower back in which for pre-natal I thought that was really strange. I told her I suffer from migraines as I had currently been & that I needed attention to my occipital bone area (high up on back of the neck) & I canât say that was ever accomplished either. She did a lot of basic rubbing which I could have gotten anywhere else. On top of that, my massage was cut pretty short which I was very displeased about & coming to leave a review I see I am not the only one. I drove longer than my massage even was. Plus the fact that the price is DOUBLE what a normal 60 min massage is & it wasnât anything to visit again for. Sadly I only had a gift card so they discounted my service leaving me $20 on a gift card that i doubt I will ever even use since I donât live nearby & left more stressed then when I got there. And I still have a migraine just as bad. Waste of money & time, definitely would...

They refunded the amount, agreed that the post was accurate - my intent was not to be mean - and will work w my wife and daughter if theyâre willing to return. Hospitality is a valuable industry, staffing and training are a challenge everywhere. We love this resort - family and friends stay here all year long.
ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: If youâre a husband / father looking for a nice gift for a woman in your life - go elsewhere, this isnât it.
Iâve sent my wife and daughter here 4+ times in the past two years for manicures and pedicures - but not anymore after most recent visit. Here are some of their comments:
âWeâre not going there again.â âItâs extremely unpleasant.â âIn over 20 years of manicures - that was the worst, it was extreme, it was bad.â âCastle is much better, itâs not too far from the hotel.â âThey donât use acetone to remove polish - they have some other method that caused a chemical burn and involved chiseling off past polish.â âThe location is pretty, but its not worth the cost.â âWe asked for a French manicure - which is very standard - and the response was âIâm not trained to do thatâ - so then what is covered in training?â âIt will take months for my...
