Kohl's — Local services in Meridian Charter Township

I am giving this store a 5 star only because of an amazing soul I met named “Bethany” tonight. This store has very slow and grumpy associates working there who are constantly frowning and hate their jobs but Bethany was a literal angel tonight. You see, I had my 3 and 4 year-old children with me (boy and girl) who were acting out because their father and brother are gone away up north and we’re delayed coming home. My littlest one through a massive tantrum and at 50 lbs, would not allow me to put him back into the stroller. There I was, at the checkout, and off goes my 4 year-old straight for the exit doors! I grabbed her and all the while trying to punch in the correct password for my Kohls App so I can access my points (while still at the register). My cart got knocked over and the female manager glared at me. Not only did Bethany not let her surrounding phase her - she was the calmest and sweetest person to me! She grabbed some children’s books by the register and literally read them to my babies which allowed me to continue to find the right password for my app. No one was in line but she memorized my children and calmed them down. She used encouraging words to have big sister help her little brother and put his coat on for him. I felt that the manager/superior didn’t like that she told me that she was talking personal to me and was completely oblivious to the fact that shopping somewhere that feels personal and kind is why I will now come back! She embodies the characteristics that a nation-wide manager should have - not an associate. I placed an online orders worth of $161.00 online, it had the correct address initially and then it had automatically picked up my old address for shipping. (I am in my new address for more than 3 years and every month my monthly Kohls credit card statement comes to my current address). Soon I after I placed then order I saw that the shipping address is wrong. Right a way I called to the Kohls customer service and told system had the wrong shipping address and change it to my current address (same as my mailing address). According to their website we can change those kind of things within 15 minutes. But the Customer Service Rep said she cannot change the shipping address, then I talked with the Floor Supervisor (00oQ) she also said she cannot change the shipping address. She said we may get refund after 30 days and she was unable to give more information about it. I have been shopping in Kohls since 2005, and I told I am going to cancel my kohls credit card. She was more than happy helping to cancel my credit card (good luck for the company who is having employees who helps to lose customers). I decided not to cancel my credit card until I settle this problem; I will cancel it once I settle this problem. What I want to tell Kohls online in not a good place do shopping, not helping at all. If within 2 minutes after placing the order you cannot change the address, Kohls, you're not ready to do online services. Their return policy is a scam. Received $45 bed sheets as a Christmas gift and wanted to exchange them for a different pattern of sheets of the same price/material. However, even though I had the receipt with me, they said the only two options I had were to send a refund to the card that purchased the sheets (it was a gift so I did not do this) or take store credit that expires in 30 days, and use this to purchase the new set of sheets.

If I took store credit they would only give me $22 for them though and I would have to pay the extra $23 out of pocket, even though I had the literal receipt in my hand for $45. I left and kept the sheets because I'm not giving them an extra $23 for the same set of sheets in a different color. Why should they get paid twice, netting a total of $68 for one set of $45 sheets?

I also got a pair of pajamas from here for Christmas and the colors ran out and bled through the fabric the first time I washed them, making them look stained and old. I don't have this receipt though so I don't think I'll even bother to try to exchange them. This reminded me why I never shop here- they make every...
