Read moreEverytime I enter into a Home Depot nobody is in there department. You look all over for someone to help. You end up stopping someone anyone to ask for assistance and they go searching for someone to help you and never come back. Today I was just very upset and disappointed today with Home Depot. I have never shopped at Lowes or Mernards but I'm have to give them a try to see if I get the same service there. Today I arrived at my scheduled appointment time which was 12:30p for countertops. The email confirmation I received stated Jeff would be who would help me. I went back to kitchen and design as I was instructed to. I get back there and there are three people back there which two were helping customers. The other employee never greeted me never asked if they could help me nothing. I then walked up to.employee and explained I had a scheduled appointment she then directed me to Jeff and he looked at me as if I had pooh on my face. He then went on to say that he was pulled off countertops and put on plumbing . Now Jeff did stand with me until I walked away. I asked for a manager on numerous occasions even the reps page several times with no response. I dont care which Home Depot you go to. They are rude and unprofessional and lack major customer service skills as well as training in whatever department they were hiring to be placed in. I'll never ever Never EVER walk foot into another Home Depot as long as I'm alive and a homeowner. I'll never purchase anything online either. I wish everyone would boycott. And I hate that Google makes you rate at least 1 star because they would have gotten...
Read moreCustomer No Service, My sons furnace started blowing cold air. My wife and grandkids were there all day in a 64 degree house. I worked late and couldn't get there until after 8 pm. Turns out the filter was put in backwards and sucked into the fan which shut it down. A friend talked me through resetting it and getting it started. He said it was important I put a new filter in it so it didn't run all-night without one, hence my trip to the near by Merriam Home Depot. I was about 5 feet in the entrance when I was approached by an associate and told the store was closed. I wasn't knocking on the door I was in the store. I looked at my watch and realized it was 9 pm. He was followed by Trevor the manager on duty who told me the registers were closed. There were still customers in the store. I explained I really needed a single furnace filter be quick and pay with a credit card. He repeated that the registers were closed with the implication that I needed to leave. So much for helping a customer in need. Lucky for me the Lowe's in Roeland Park was open until 10 pm and were very helpful in finding me a filter. My family just had to set in the cold 15 minutes longer while I went there. I'm done shopping at that Home Depot. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with a manager there but it will...
