Merritt Crossing — Local services in Merritt Island

The shopping plaza has some nice stores planet fitness the dollar market straight out of Philly but the parking lot leaves a lot to be desired. It has a lot of potholes and the lines and parking spots are not clearly marked and after my running today with the owner of Alfredo's regarding a handicap parking spot and van accessibility this really needs to be taken care of. The owner of Alfredo's is very rude and condescending. Stating I own of the restaurant... Okay so do you also own the parking lot? The driver of the black Jeep backed out and moved to a different spot then the owner and the lady who was driving stood inside the restaurant watching my vehicle which made absolutely no sense. But the parking lot definitely is not...

Another neighborhood strip mall repurposed from an original Publix of yesteryear (Publix is now about 1 mile north on Courtney across the street). Still in very good condition. The prime tenant now being Dollar General Marketplace, a much larger version of DG with a small grocery store integrated into the layout. Very busy store that does justice to the other stores in keeping traffic stopping by.

The Chinese restaurant has been here under correct ethnic ownership for better than 35 years. ALWAYS a winner!

Was in Dollar General Market store. I shop here often. They have good selection of fresh produce, frozen food, other groceries. Also great variety of everything from greeting cards to seasonal out door items. They have baby Items, OTC meds, household needs, clothing & shoes. UP DATE 1/9/24 Was shopping in Walgreens to pick up my Rx. They had so many Holliday things for sale at 75% to 90% off that I spent way more than I planned! Their OTC vitamins & supplements were almost all BOGO free! A good time to stock up. The large Panettone cakes were just $1.99! French toast for dinner! Large can of Popcorn with 3 flavors was only...
