China King — Restaurant in Florida

For years this was my favorite Chinese place in Merritt Island. I've recommended it to many of my friends but I won't anymore. It always tasted fresh, delivery was quick, employees were nice until about 6+ months ago. The food tastes completely different, I don't know if they got a new cook or a new owner but the past 2 times it hasn't even been worth eating.

A couple weeks ago, my friend ordered delivery. The order was placed around 6pm, the food didn't arrive until after 8pm. The food was cold. He called multiple times to complain about how long the delivery was taking, then about how his food was cold. They said they'd call back. They didn't. He called again to say he wanted his money back. They demanded that in order for him to receive his money back, he must bring the food back (on a delivery order).

One time when I still liked this restaurant, I received the wrong food. The driver came back to bring me the right food but they said I had to give the wrong order back (which I didn't want anyway).

It's shocking that they make you give your messed up food back. I hope they dispose of it and don't put it back in the pot for someone else....

Overall, me and my friends are highly disappointed. This was one of my / our top choices for delivery. And we'd order multiple...

I ordered General Tso's chicken, Wonton soup and two egg rolls. I live around the corner so the food should have been hot and fresh. It wasn't. Started with the egg rolls, took one bite and it had an awful greasy taste. I tipped it upside down and oil poured out of it. The second one was the same full of frying oil. Through both out. Next the General Tso's chicken was dry and cold along with the fried rice which seemed to be more like Spanish rice that had been sitting around for a few days. Threw it out. Next the Wonton soup. The Wontons were over cooked and soggy. The fried noodles that came with the soup were stale and tasted Rancid. I would have taken it back but, it wasn't worth it. It is so hard to find a good Chinese restaurant here in Florida. I will never go back. Highly NOT...

So, NONE of the pics you see online are what you will get to eat! It's a lie. Horrible food! The pics you see were taken from the Internet to make their food seem appealing but it's horrible. Look at my photos that I posted the shrimp egg roll advertised is completely different from what I got. Is Roast pork is the same as roast beef???? no utensils, everything is like an oil soup with little meat and vegetables, absolutely unhealthy and a rip off. Worst Chinese food ever and I love Chinese food. Panda Express forever not this s#!t. I'm so disappointed I sound like the disgruntled customer but this is definitely NOT IT! If you know good Chinese food you would never accept this food. I'd never recommend it to feed even dogs. Somehow I think they are...
