We’ve tried, we really have but we’re done throwing money away at this place. We love the food and were huge fans of the Peddlers Village location. We were so excited to get a MI location, we don’t have many options here in North MI. So you can imagine how disappointed we are that it is NOTHING like the original location. I don’t think they’ve ever gotten our order right, not one time and we’ve eaten there probably 25 times. They always forget something and/or give us the wrong thing entirely. Tonight my husband picked up food for us, he ordered a chicken Philly, a chicken Cesar wrap, a kids tenders and fries with everything. What we got… no fries, a steak philly instead of chicken, a melted styrofoam box of very well done chicken tenders, an ice cold chicken Cesar wrap. My husband noticed the missing fries right away but not the rest. Yes I could call, again, and we could go up there and get new food but we’re not going to. My husband just put in a 12 hour work day, I’ve been home sick with Covid, our kids are hungry and I’m just not up to driving 15 min back there just for them to take a third try at getting our order right. Read moreWe ordered pick up, and the food when I got home at first appearance seemed OK to be nice. The chicken tenders were hard & thin. (obviously overcooked) The jerk chicken sub was alright. There was not as much chicken as there was a sub roll, but he said it was OK. The steak sub I ordered when I looked at it was a great deal larger than the chicken. (I just had eye surgery, which is y I could not see this next part) I proceeded to eat part of the sub, and within hours, I was in the bathroom all that night into the next day. I felt ill for all of the next day. When my partner realized the only thing we had different was the subs, he liked at mine that morning. The steak sub had brown lettuce on it and a foul look. He immediately threw it out, stating that when we got back home, he would call. Upon calling, he was dismissed like this couldn't happen. Then, when asked for a refund thru actuality, she wanted us to come back & eat again! Y would you eat somewhere that made you sick? When asked this, she replied that we don't issue refunds. What I received was a cheesesteak with ketchup and onions. When I called the store, their initial reaction was to blame the dasher and not take responsibility. I was told the dasher gave me the wrong order and they won’t have her pick up from their store ever again. I had to be the one to hold them accountable as I told them I’m looking at the bag with my “order” in it. I asked if the dasher bags the food or the store. She told me it was the store but she picked up the wrong one. I told her I’m looking at the bag with my name and order taped to it but it was not my order…this was their fault and not the dasher.
What a waste of my time. The only reason I give them a single star is because we can’t submit without at least giving 1 star.
