Paradise Appliance — Local services in Mesa

I went to Paradise Appliances to purchase a full kitchen set in August. The fridge was an open box item; the rest was going to come directly from Whirlpool. When I got the delivery on August 13 the fridge wasn't working, the stove is damaged, I never got my microwave and the dishwasher doesn't work on Heated Dry. The fridge was in the store and easily could have been tested before delivery. That is something you would think a business owner would do. Paradise received my appliances in their warehouse before delivery and should have inspected all appliances before delivery. You would think that a small business like Paradise Appliances would do that. It's not like they have customers lining up outside and are too busy to do that.

When I advised Paradise Appliances that the fridge was not working on a Saturday Annemarie, the owner of the store told me to contact her on Sunday morning. When I contacted her on Sunday morning she told me the store is closed and to call the office on Monday. Some customer service!! First I was told that I will get a full refund for my fridge; then I was told that I will not be refunded the full amount. I advised the owner that the other pieces are also damaged. Annemarie refused to do anything about that and to this day I still do not have my refund from my fridge. I have asked for the other pieces to be serviced with no response to this day on that. I was told I have a warranty and if I have a problem I will have a service person within 24 hours. I can tell you it’s been longer than that and I am still waiting.

The delivery companies scratched and damaged my walls and my sprinkler system in my house. When I told the owner about it she did not offer to fix it or compensate me for any damages. Please STAY AWAY!!!! Do not let yourself be fooled by low prices. Go anywhere else and ask for price matching and do your homework. If I would have done that I would have saved myself a lot of headache and I would have saved money. I have proof of all of this, I have pictures and documented text messages with owner. I never did a review before for any company, but I think I need to here. I got ripped off by this company. Please do not let yourselves be...

I went to this store to buy an oven with stove top. A dish washer and q microwave.my whole kitchen appliances were given out one after another. So I needed a place I can get a good deal for all my appliances.. so first their pricesare very high for what they make it seem like. No discounts about their deals . It was 5 20 and the lady working the floor was in such a hurry. She practically kicked us out of the store because she wanted to leave on time. So I was only able to choose a dish washer with plans to come back tomorrow for the other 2 appliances. Bad customer service. Didn't let us ask questions.just quickly processed the payment and all the appliances showed were with packed inside with cables and power outlets and little advertising packets .the agent said the dish washer comes with power outlet and the pipes to install it it also has an installation packet that you can do it yourself at home. The agent said go around the back to get your washer. But the guys I'n the back assured me installation kit is there and explained how easy it is to install. But one of the workers said he can keep it over night to test it out for us.and to come pick it up tomorrow since the sales person didnt let us test it out. We agreed and came back the next day took the washer home with no power outlet or pipes or installation kit. We went back to ask for them this time a girl was working and she was very rude and pretty much said the machine comes as it without any cables or power outlet and I quote her she stated none of our appliances comes with power outlets. You have to go to home Depot and buy power outlet and installation kit. That no one sells appliances with power outlets. Customers are paying out of pocket separately for that. She told us to leave the store because she had other customers and to contact the owners. We bought put own power outlet and installation kit. No one called us back. Very rude workers. Once they got their money you are on your own....

Please beware I don't think all are scratch and dent or open box. I was there looking a dryers when looking at lint trap on one of them there was lint at bottom of machine. They had a shipment come in when we were there an employee was cleaning them down inside and out. I went to look at their new shipment most of them had some site of use ie hair, lint, stains etc. Few of them had tickets on them saying "customer didn't want it" I questioned the sales person about the used appliances she stumbled over her words trying to say the used ones went somewhere else. But didn't know where that was. Finally she basically said if they look good we put them out. Most scratch and dent stores will have tag marked where the damage is on the appliance none of them have a tag. BE CAREFUL WHAT I SAW SAYS THEY ARE ALL RETURNS NOT SCRATCH AND DENT. There is a market for used appliances but they should be sold as such not new open box and floor models!

I'm adding to this in response to the owners correspondence. They do not have a used department i asked when I went in and if you read my first message the sales associate told me they ship all used appliances out but unsure of where. Also she didn't answer why the tags say "customers didn't want" they are used appliances I'd bet on it. None of the appliances have any barely any Damage to be considered "...
