Love the new location. I finally stopped by! It’s bigger, which is nice when it’s busy. At the old location if there were more than 2 or 3 people in the shop there was not much room to move around. Now it is open and spacious. There is a fabulous selection. Prices are very reasonable. There are a few things I have purchased the similar item at the big box store and it was double the price at the big store. I will continue to buy those things a here for sure. The Snowy Popcorn is heaven in a box! It is fun to get a complimentary piece of chocolate while you browse. I was not offered that this time. There was a new gal training so I am sure that’s why nothing was offered. Usually someone has always just hands me a piece of candy which always makes the experience a little more fun. I did purchase 2 different types of chocolates and they were tossed into a bag (which is what I asked for) but I wasn’t sure which was which when I got home. I didn’t really look at them in the shop. So that was partly my mistake. Too bad they were not in separate little bags though. I don’t want any of this to take away From how much I like Daniel’s! You guys are great! Happy you are in Mesquite! It has been so fun to watch this business go and grow from the way away shop down by the Humane Society, to the little shop on Pioneer and now to Mesquite Boulevard. This is a local favorite in Mesquite. They are known for their chocolate covered popcorn and their hand dipped chocolates. The husband and wife owners, age 87. He makes the chocolate centers and she hand dips them. Their chocolate covered popcorn comes in several flavors; regular white chocolate, peanut butter, cinnamon, and coconut. They also have kettle corn and caramel corn. The store also has other chocolate and gummie candy. We tried the regular chocolate covered popcorn, several other gummie candies, and picked a few of their hand dipped chocolates; The shop isn’t anything very pretty to look at inside or out but it is a fun shop if you happen to find yourself...
