This evening, my husband and three daughters, stopped in to this store to get me a gift for Mother’s Day. He was so excited to go out shopping with our girls this evening to find me something. He drives through the city often and this store caught his eye and he couldn’t wait to stop in. Sadly, they just got home and told me about how terribly they were treated in this store tonight. They were completely ignored by staff, and were clearly being judged by all staff, including the older woman who came out from the back to monitor their shopping. My husband even addressed the woman with a hello and she blankly stared at him without responding. My daughters said they felt like they were being watched and treated like they were criminals. How sad. The city of love and treating their customers with nothing but hate. Do better...

I went to Yellow Springs yesterday for a mental reset day. I wandered the shops and enjoyed the weather. I went into Glen Garden Gifts & Flowers and they greeted me kindly and offered their services to put together a bouquet for me to take home. I took them up on it. I have a tattoo on my left shoulder that represents my “little sister”and myself. I was asked about my tattoo as it was peeking out from under my sleeveless dress. Immediately one of the florists took inspiration. The gerbera daisy represents me and the sunflower represents my sister.
