I had recently learned of this taco stand from either the Food Network or Travel Channel and it was very well spoken about, so I knew that I had to try it out when I was in South Florida next time. Yes, I even drove 45 miles from where I was in South Florida to Miami just to try this place out).
Be aware that this place is in a food hall right near the Miami Brightline station so it's not easy or find unless you're looking for it (and yes it is upstairs). It is in a downtown location surrounded by the local state and federal courthouses.
Anyhow I came in here after office hours on a Thursday, so it was kind of quiet. The staff was friendly and the menu looked good. I ordered the Al Pastor tacos and the Campechano (confit rose meat and sausage blend), and ordered them with option of crumbled Chicharron (worth it for the $0.50 upcharge per taco). But honestly I wish they also offered a side of freshly made Chicharron's too, rather then just the crumbled. Aside from that that the Al Pastor was yummy and the Campechano, while slightly gamey, had a good flavor and was tender.
They offered hot sauces and the tacos come with lime wedges to add an additional pop of flavor.
If you're in the area for business or just passing through for the Brightline, it's worth it stop here as they offer up good street tacos that are...
Read moreI was at the Wolf of Tacos for Taco Tuesday and what a great experience was.
At first, I was a bit skeptical because it is located within a food hall and on top of that , in a train station. Most of the food halls in Miami, in my opinion, have no success, that was the reason I was on the fence on whether to come for some tacos.
But here it was Taco Tuesday and I decided to give them a chance. It always the best decision I could have taken.
Their menu is kind of limited, which I like. Not always more means better.
I had their pollo asado, costilla and al pastor tacos. One was better than the other one, even the chicken which is sort of controversial when it comes to tacos because it is usually dry. This one was not dry at all and nicely seasoned.
My favorite one was the wagyu costilla, which was like a thin steak. It melt in my mouth, so soft and a lot of flavors.
The place was packed and the service a bit slow but they were super friendly.
Ambiance is beautiful, the entire food hall is.
Can’t wait for the next...

My recent visit to The Wolf of Tacos was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Shylah Martinez, who rudely informed us that we could order food but were not allowed to eat on the premises. While this was already off-putting, the situation escalated when we voiced our concerns about the way we were being spoken to. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, Shylah came up to us aggressively and, shockingly, ended up shoving me. This was a clear case of assault and battery.
No one should ever feel physically threatened at a place of business. We should have left the moment we were disrespected, but the fact that I was accosted like this is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Safety and respect are clearly not priorities here, and the tacos were underwhelming, to...
