A very Nice Hotel, clean and well decorated but that is where it stops. I do travel a lot and stay in all kinds of places cheap expensive and everything in between. This place has a very elegant boutique style look and feel to it. Its bright and clean, beds are compfy and the Bathrooms are big and clean. It gives one the impression to be in a classy boutique Hotel. It stops at checkin when you realize that the Staff is not professionally trained, cant work the computer system cant read the reservation and make you sign the wrong forms. I checked in at 12:30 am and the night person had no clue as to checkin a guest. When he realized he made me sign the wrong form about 10 minutes later he actually phoned me it the room at 12:50 am to see if I could come back to the reception to sign. Once I settled in to the room I found a nicely stocked mini bar but to my surprise no glasses in the room. After calling the reception to get glasses it only took 15 minutes for someone to bring them up. The cleaners removed the glasses the next day so during my 6 night stay I had to call for glasses every day. There was also no cups in the Washroom to rinse your mouth after brushing teeth. The soap and shampoo was not replaced in the bathroom after use. The hallways are very echoy so every time the elevatot opens on the floor you live on you will be woken by a loud tripple ding from the 1930 elevator bell. Outside my room was a flagpole mounted with an oversized flag that was making a loud metallic banging noise from the wind all night long. I moved rooms half way through due to the fact that all those noise disturbances seriously affected my sleep. I had to move my own cloths into the new room even though I was insured in the morning that someone will move all my belonging while I am out. The new room was just as loud, only no flagpole ouside the widow. If you go party all night and need no sleep while you are at the hotel then this hotel is for you. If you are on business travel I would go somewhere else. I had a breakfast package the included a continental breakfast. It included a mini Croissant a mini muffin and a mini danish of which you could choose 2 items. Coffee and orange juice. The 4 times I had breakfast 2 times the Croissants where from the day before. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a decent selection of spirits and beers, if you get your habds on it. I visited 3 time for a beer after work, once on Saturday once on Monday and again on Tuesday. All three days the service was pretty bad, I had to wait 15 minuted to be tended to even though there was only 6 other people in the place, two barkeepers and one server. I guess youtube videos on mobile phones have priority over paying customers. On one occasion the Host greeted me as I walked in and he didn't even bother putting his phone down. The bill was to be settled by the corporate account that booked it, yet even that did not work out, three reminders are not good enough, I am still waiting to get the charge removed from my account. Overall a disappointing experience. The hotel is all looks and no substance, the staff needs training urgently. If I could give minus...
Read moreWe absolutely love coming to Eurostar Langford. We have recently moved to SW Florida and every time we make a visit to Miami, Eurostar Langford is an absolute staple for us with any visitors we have. In the past 2 months we have stayed here 4 times and love it all the time. Halva at the front desk is very warm and caring and we always look forward to seeing her because she is an absolute gem and Eurostar is lucky to have her. Jaume as well, in the breakfast hall makes Eurostar an absolute gem for his friendliness and hospitality. We come here time and time again because of these two in particular. They make our experience great and worth wanting to come back.
We have recently gotten to know Elizabeth from our last stay and she was an absolute star along with the tall Blonde (sorry we didn't get your name).
The reason why we are giving 4 stars is because we had an unfortunate experience upstairs in the bar area. The gentleman was tall, muscular build with brown hair. We were there with family trying to get our drinks and the bar was not busy at all. He felt it was more important to continue eating his food while simultaneously checking the fridge for 10 minutes. We patiently waited thinking nothing of it... but it got a bit ridiculous when he would just stare at us not wanting to even greet us or acknowledge us and had us wait for more than 10 minutes (as if we were inconveniencing him). By the time he came over, we very polite asking for a menu, because our times prior we were given a menu. He was absolutely rude, unhappy, unprofessional, and honestly, if it weren't for workers like Halva, Jaume, and Elizabeth we probably would not have come back if the workers were like this guy. It was more important for him to eat, not acknowledge his guests, treat them as if they were a complete inconvenience, and flirt with the pretty blonde that had been waiting for his attention.
He ended up not helping us in the end and the head bartender came over and he was great and almost made up for our other encounter.
Do stay here, it is great, the breakfast is phenomenal, and the staff (minus the tall dark haired man) is very hospitable and caring.
We want to give 10 stars but felt it was necessary to shed light on our experience at the bar. BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT!
Thank you again to Jaume, Halva, Elizabeth, The tall blonde lady, and the head bartender... we will be seeing you soon again.

Read moreOverall GREAT experience - I would give 4.5 stars. It's not a 5-star hotel, but it meets all the needs with some nice touches. Feels Boutique.
PURPOSE: Business Travel - Conference in the nearby InterContinental Miami. Easy walk of about 10 minutes. POSITIVE HISTORY - building is Historic with a mix of Art Deco, Traditional and Modern touches. Built in 1925 as City National Bank Building and later Miami National Bank. LOCATION - excellent location - close to boardwalk, entertainment and other major hotels. SERVICE - FRONT DESK - smooth check-in/check-out. Fresh lemonade and water available at front desk. Nice touch with immediate call to your room following up check-in asking if everything is OK (super unusual but very cool). I also liked standard 12pm check-out, while 11am is standard for most hotels I've stayed in. SERVICE - ROOM CLEANING - I've been impressed with every day cleaning - done so well that I left tip (haven't leave those in a while) ROOM OVERALL - very large with very high ceilings BATHROOM - very large, but a bit dark to my taste (black tile); huge shower OFFICE - cool large desk across the bed, next to TV ROOM EXTRAS - huge fancy tea/coffee maker with tea/coffee/sugar. Very large closet (lights up inside when you open it) - tons of space to hang clothes + shelves. Cool large old suitcase that can be used to place your suitcase on top. OTHER - there is an all-can-eat breakfast available for $20. I didn't try it but my co-worker did and was very happy.
NEGATIVE SMELL - the room had weird musky "oldish" smell - maybe better ventilation and/or air sprays/neutralizers could be used VIEW - expect no view in most rooms, especially on lower levels. I was on 8th floor and my view was a roof of another building ACCESSORIES - NO full-size large mirror (besides the bathroom) in order to "preview yourself" top-to-bottom. Definitely a must for anyone, especially if you are attending events and prepping. BUSINESS NEEDS - only 1 USB plug at the desk across the bed - not convinient for charging devices - I prefer nightstand options LIGHT. The whole building, including Halls and Room feels lacking light. There is a fine line with ambiance and just "please add more light/spotlights". I especially struggled with not enough brightness in the room - for makeup reasons. Forget the bathroom - too dark, so I used the old table lamp and did makeup at the desk. Was OK but could be brigher (lamp is...
