I got subscribed to this gym twice. The first time was a couple of years a go. I went there for 6 months with a personal trainer from the gym. When my daughter was born I cancelled my subscription. 4 months after I canceled, I found out that the automatic debit from my card was still on. I reached the gym and they re funded me the money. A couple of months a go I went back there to train with the same personal trainer since she was great. Before I subscribed I told the person in the front desk about what happened there before and I asked him if I could pay month by month and not leave my card on file. He said yes, so I re subscribed. The next time I try yo go, another guy stops me and say that If I don’t leave my card on file or pay 6 months upfront, I couldn’t use the gym. Just to clarify, at that point I already pay 154 on subscription feeds. So i just went there to cancel (again) my subscription. Rest assure that I will not come back. Powerlifter? There are bumper plates, multiple bars with different weights/knurls, and an area to go bananas on the deadlift.
Cardio? Row machines, stair masters, treadmills.
Classes? Dancing, circuits, saline boxing bags and spinning bikes and awesome instructors.
Bodybuilding? The equipment is there. Dumbbells, barbells, squat racks, hip thrusters.
I have literally never seen a gym as well-equipped to handle the general populace as this one. The only thing missing is a pool but after seeing my local LA Fitness' lack of people in the pool, I don't think this is a deal breaker.
The staff is friendly, the owner is hands-on and awesome to talk to. It's clean and yet has a "homely" feel to it.
Highly recommend this place for anyone serious about their...
