Kate Spade Outlet — Local services in Michigan City

My family and I were shopping at the lighthouse place and happen to walk into the Kate spade outlet store. My father-in-law had his service dog with him on a leash. The manager by the name of “Kate” stopped him and told him that dogs were not allowed. My father-in-law explained to her that “he is registered”. He did say this to her, my family and I heard it. She continued to patronize him and responded “that’s nice but he is still not allowed”.

My father-in-law left the store with his service dog and he was distressed by the situation. My mother-in-law and I had to process what just had happened. Later, my mother-in-law attempted to explain to the manager that he was a service dog. Kate said that my father-in-law did not say that he was (Lies). My mother-in-law presented her the service dog registration card and explained that she could have handled the situation better.

My family and I have not witnessed this kind of rejection of entry in this manner. As a manager, “Kate” should have attempted to understand what my father-in-law meant by “registered” before asking him and his service dog to leave. My father-in-law speaks perfect English. I was in this lovely Kate Spade outlet store last week and the selection of handbags, jewelery, and clothing was terrific! The two employees (Kate & Summer) greeted us when we walked in and offered assistance if needed. I love the new dark green color for fall and purchased a 3 compartment bag that has a ton of room, yet isn't a huge bag. I also picked up a summer bag at 70% + 20% off and will use it in just a few months as our "summer" season is a bit longer in Cali. This was a fun experience due to the great selection and the very friendly, and fun, employees! I'll be back...

If you're looking for a place that has purses, wallets, and clothing. And if you're willing to spend a good amount of money on yourself as a woman, then Kate Spade is the place to go! Beautifully designed handbags and purses! From keychains to cute wallets with doggie faces, a woman's wish, in my opinion. Courteous staff and always a sale to help lower the cost.
