Waitress there with blue hair was absolutely the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. She kept making comments about my children… how they needed to sit in their seat. They are toddlers. They walked a short distance to the candy/toy machines and she made extremely rude comments and continued to speak her mind loudly. She must hate children. After listening and trying to ignore her we became increasingly uncomfortable after she kept going on and on about my kids being up one time in the restaurant it really rubbed her the wrong way. So much so that she said they needed their a** beat. We spoke with the manager that day and she only apologized and said that the worker had anxiety. I say If she is that fragile she should not be out amongst the public. Our meal was cut short and I was belittled and shamed on Mothers Day of all days. I don’t know what the waitress is going through, she said she doesn’t have any children of her own. I know because she loudly announced that bit of information about herself, along with the fact that she believes she would be a great mother if she ever found anyone she liked enough to have a child with… she hates people she let us know… and I hope she is one day. Then she may understand small children will not always sit perfectly still in their seats no matter how many butt whoopings you give them. I don’t care what her opinions are she is allowed to voice them but do it in the kitchen of the restaurant like every other waitress and not in front of the entire dining...
Read moreI had my suspicions about the place for a while, I couldn't bring myself to believe that a Japanese restaurant opened in this area would actually be worth trying out, but after a year and a half of passing it by, and shaking my head in discontent, I finally gave in and decided to give it a shot, and now I stand corrected. Where I expected to encounter soggy vegetables fresh from the local Walmart freezer isle, I found they actually had a pleasant, fresh crunch, and where I expected to get charred, overly seasoned meat, it turned out to be cooked through perfectly, medium-rare just like I requested, and the amount seasoning was spot on. Nothing was too sweet, too salty, or too spiced, they allowed the natural flavor of the ingredients used to shine through and that's what I expect from a good Japanese place. If anything I left the place feeling undercharged, $27.00 for two (myself, and my mother in celebration of mothers day), I'd expect a restaurant with cuisine as good as theirs to charge at least double for what we had. Thanks a bunch to the wonderful staff and cooks behind the counter for the memorable dining experience! 10/10 would recommend, and try the provided sauce at the tables, you...
Read moreWas a regular for over a year easily before I applied for a job there. The food and service was always wonderful until newer people started to work. During my interview process the owner was super rude and made inappropriate remarks. Spoke about my “inexperience” in serving even though I’ve worked serving jobs for 2+ years and I had made clearly made it known. Going back to being a regular, I would frequent this restaurant multiple times a week and she still didn’t even know who I was or how often I paid into her business. But I really hate to say this stuff but I feel like it should be known, during the interview there was a cockroach that climbed in between the plastic strip of the sushi bar as we were talking. I have the habit to think that if there is one, there’s hundreds of others. I will not be returning back to this restaurant and will go to one elsewhere. I thank the servers for their kindness but the business isn’t...
