If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife bought a 6 pack of Coors Light on Friday afternoon, opened one up and it was skunked. Disappointing, yes, but not the end of the world. We decided to bring it back since it was undrinkable, figuring they might replace it. If the manager on duty had even attempted a vague apology when saying that they dont accept returns on beer, it probably would've ended there. Unfortunately, customer service is apparently not a part of the Shop Rite Liquors manager's training program. His response was more along the lines of "Too bad, so sad. We don't do returns on beer." Which just infuriated my wife. The discussion degenerated quickly into an argument. I realized the whole affair was pointless and attempted to extricate my wife from further argument when the manager doubled down on his I'll conceived argument and pointed to the Good Until date and said that the date hadn't arrived yet, as if that was proof the beer must still be fresh. From someone very familiar with wines, the organization of the wines in this store was done by an amateur. While there is a system, there are SO many more ways to layout the wine that would be much easier to navigate - especially for those NOT familiar with wines. While there are aisles full of wines, the few times I've been here, I've always opted to try something new since they don't carry my favorites, and never once was happy with it. So also curious if their buying process is that of an actual liquor store when selecting which wines to carry?
When liquors are not on sale, there are other stores close by that have better pricing.
