Honestly makes me so sad to even write this. This used to be one of my favorite thing to do, even with the “mean girl staff” but a terrible experience recently has made me and everyone i know and who knows of this situation, never want to spend money there again. Their cancellation policy on the pottery classes is 5 day warning so they can appropriately reschedule. Which honestly makes sense right? In normal circumstances if something happens and you need to change the class you should call. I signed up for the class and paid ahead for my boyfriend and I within that 5 days. A few hours after booking the class and paying i received a phone call that my sister very suddenly and tragically passed away. I emailed, Facebook messaged, and called and received no response until after the class passed. When they did respond it was so careless and rude it truly enraged me. From a family of small business owners that is simply not the way to conduct customer service for a small business. The upside to a mom and pop is it’s supposed to be family friendly and i assumed they would simply move the class or give me credit. I DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR A REFUND. Given the circumstances i thought that was so fair. I simply thought they would move us to a later class honestly because i really wanted to do it. I will never go into this business again honestly and anyone who asks me, I’m honest, show them the emails and they respond that they don’t even want to give them business again either. In that situation there is a proper and human way to respond and this place honestly just handled it in the most unprofessional and heartless way imaginable. I’m honestly so disappointed because i loved this place. Truly. Will never ever be going back and they continue to earn a bad...
Read moreThis is a really cute spot but poorly ran. I came a year ago and they have “take home kits” (Super Cute/Great Family Night Idea) came this year before Christmas for the same thing. Workers knew absolutely nothing about what I was talking bout, which was fine, whatever, I continue to buy the ornaments & paint all separately got to the paint brushes they no longer sell those, cool I went to the dollar store and picked up a couple sets for the family, no big deal ! My problem emerged when I proceed to come back to drop my ornaments off and was rudely asked by one of the young ladies working for this establishment if “ I PAID FOR THESE ORNAMENTS” …. Of course I paid …. Do you honestly think I stole these ornaments the paint and had the nerve to bring them back into the store and ask for them to be finished ? You’ve got to be kidding me ! I’ll never be back to this place … if one brings up this place and asks for my opinion I will address the customer service that may be encountered walking into this...
Read moreI almost didn't go here because some of the reviews. However me, my 9& 11 year olds had a great positive experience. There was a very friendly high school looking student working and the manager (owner?) came to check on us. It was a little pricey $120 for a full size plate, coffee mug and a smaller plate but everything these days since Bidenomics. The only thing that turnede off a little was the tip suggestions. 15-20% is standard, however the options they provided were 20%, 25%, 30% or custom. I ended up doing a custom tip in the 15-20% range to get to an even dollar amount. Igave 4 out of 5 because it was a tad pricey and the tip thing.
But I would 100% recommend it to anyone who has kids, it was a great wholesome family night and the best part is we have something that we can use for the future. I made a plate that I plan to use daily so I guess when you factor that in, it's worth it. BTW I hate art but it...
