Urban Tortilla — Restaurant in California

This place has improved greatly!! I had not been thru SFO in a while and last couple times I had their burrito had been very disappointed! Things were flavorless and the ruin of all ruins was their rice was hard!! I don't know if it was not cooked correctly or if it sat there too long "unattended", but it was hard and it just completely ruined the Burrito!! Even their tortilla, don't know if they were using a different vendor but tortilla was also very flavorless. Anyway...glad to report it's all much better Now! Tortilla was hot/soft and with some flavor to it and rice n beans were also hot and fresh. The pork was still a little tough but even that improved the week after when I went through there again. Plus good size too! Don't know if it's a new crew or what, but please keep it up, cause now I'm looking forward to my next...

Was going to order a quesadilla, they had one lady on the “food line” and another on cash register, which is how it should be for sanitary reasons. I went to pay for my food, the lady at the register went to the stove with the same gloves that she has just helped the customer before me with, and went to flip my quesadilla. Watching her the whole time….She wasn’t able to flip it with just the spatula so she grabbed a corner of the tortilla with her fingers (aka dirty gloves) to help flip it. Then came back to take my money. I confronted her on it and she denied. I told her “I just watched you”. She shrugged her shoulders and I said I don’t want my food and walked away. Cleanliness needs to be addressed with management and some training in cross contamination within staff. Couldn’t believe...

I would have to disagree with the majority of the negative reviews here. Firstly, the customer service was not bad. Definitely no worse than the majority of burrito places I've been to... And I've been to MANY. Secondly, in regards to price. Yes it's more expensive than the average burrito joint OUTSIDE of the airport. But it is the airport. To put it in perspective, a chicken burrito will normally run you $8-9 outside the airport. Here it costs $11. Sounds about normal to me for an airport mark up. And lastly, on food quality, it's a mediocre burrito. Not bad, not excellent. But if you like burritos, you won't complain. It beats some $@## food from burger king. Happy...
