I’ve been trying to reach someone at the Wells Fargo Millbrae branch for three weeks, calling from Taiwan, and have made over 100 calls — not a single one has been answered by a human. Every call goes straight to voicemail, and since I’m overseas, leaving a callback number is useless.
I simply need to speak to a banker about an important matter, but this has become impossible.
What is going on with this branch? Is anyone actually working there? This is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable for a major bank. I sincerely hope someone from this branch sees this and reaches out, because the current state of service is beyond disappointing.
If there is a direct email contact for this branch or a specific banker, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.
RESPOND
Thank you for your reply. I had already tried contacting that email before, but the response I received said they couldn’t help me get in touch with the branch. I’m not trying to be difficult, but asking me to leave a phone number doesn’t help much either. As I mentioned in my message, I’m calling from Taiwan and have even tried leaving a Taiwan number before — but I doubt anyone would actually call me back.
At this point, I can only hope to deal with it next time I’m able to visit in person. But honestly, I’m worried I’ll run into the same issues again — being told I need an appointment, and just like last time, being told I can’t make one without a U.S. phone number. Even asking at the counter just led to a frustrating loop of “you need an appointment.”
I just don’t understand — why is it so hard to handle something as basic as accessing my own money, whether in person or...

They transposed $642 to $246, and lost the money from my account but deposited it to another persons account. I had to tear my house apart for 2 days, and finallly I found the electronic receipt, 3/4 of the way under my file cabinet. I have very carefully saved every receipt since that day in 1981. Their Financial Advisers kept our Estate fully invested in 2000 and 2007 (my Dad is 88, not much time to recover the Millions they lost in the Markets). Lastly, they are the only bank I know of who puts people on their incomming phone who don't speak english. Do they hire anyone our of...
Read moreI’ve been a business client of this branch for almost 2 years now, and honestly about to close my accounts and start working with a different bank. Impossible to get a hold of anybody in this bank branch. Our previous banker moved to a different department. So nobody responds to my emails, nobody picks up the phone for 2 days in a row. A Simple thing as a wire transfer couldn’t be handled worse. For a $45 fee a transfer that bounced back because the banker misinformed me....
