Millbrae is blessed to have many authentic multicultural restaurants and grocery stores. People love visiting this town for many reasons. Millbrae downtown is very invitee for those who live or visit this town next to the airport, Bart station, and Caltrain station. Millbrae Kababs and Gyro is a delicious addition to the downtown area. It's situated next to Trader Joe's with plenty of parking around the shops. This restaurant has an indoor and outdoor covered seating area to enjoy and appreciate the downtown ambiance. People who work there are very kind and friendly, including the owner. If you would like to know him better, try to order dish number 6 from the menu, and you learn his name. If you attempted, then please share your thoughts with everyone. There are many things to order, but today, I will share my experience with their signature authentic Lentil Soup must try from the menu. This soup will remind you of the homemade dish by Grandma. The texture of the soup is consistent and very balanced ingredients. It is served hot, and you must start eating right away. If you like, you can add a bit of hot sauce, too. It is highly recommended by everyone. We also tried a Chicken Gyro Plate, Combo Plate, Gyro Wraps, and...

( Old review) Really rude today, I eat here often, have my vaccine and the lady behind the counter tried to correct me on wearing my mask..?.and how to wear it..?. (It's on correctly..I teach school all day wearing a mask ..lol)..pretty sure I've been informed as no one's ever told me anything like this before..mask police....hmmm???? I was ordering with my mask on and planning to eat inside at the table. I live in SF and do this all the time with no issues. I have eaten without my mask on many times here. I felt discriminated today by how rude she was. No hello , I said" hi how are you,?she then rolled her eyes ( she was too busy talking with the cooks)I guess I bothered her. Sad, I liked this place.. the food was awesome many teachers and other friends ate here a lot, I will tell them not to go when the girl with the glasses is working..Will go elsewhere in the future, rudeness not needed. Actually eating at home lately is better than rude treatment after the pandemic. You think these places would like business. I asked her if she wanted to see my vaccine card, she didn't reply. I...
Read moreFirst they were really busy and the owner was at the register. The Millbrae art & wine festival was happening. So I obviously had MANY choices for dinner for me and my daughter. You would think that any of the businesses there would be grateful for your business. The place had more than 1/2 of the tables open. Long line, but not busy inside. The owner was not nice, rushed, when I asked about Apple Pay, he was rude about it. I ordered the gyros, because it’s one of my favorite dishes ever. Came home to find this…. I hate red pepper!! Why is there red & green pepper mixed into my meat??? 1/2 is the meat was really FATTY (look at pic)!! When I was waiting with my 4 yr old, the owner kept zipping by us very fast and rudely. THIS IS NOT GYROS!! The owner didn’t care about our business, but the truth of the matter is…This place didn’t deserve our businese, because it’s NOT REAL GYROS!! Just a bad experience all the way around. I think the owner should get to know about ApplePay if he’s gonna use it. In addition, if he wants to keep his business open, he should start appreciating every customer. Because there’s a lot of gyros places opening and around, and next time I’m not choosing his place. YES, that’s pure...
